No when buying a Nokia you were not stuck with “the software included on the phone”. We constantly installed apps. American really make stupid assumptions about Nokia and other phones for no other reason than ignorance.

As an Indian I think apple should try to target india for reasons as nowadays every single big compny is trying their luck on the Indian market
And mostly gaming items such as the Xbox game pass Are geting verry lucky
If apple tries to make completely different versions of their iPhones made only with Indian items to remove the 20% tarrif rate on the iPhone
If apple for the least Tries that
They might hit gold

Since china is athoritatrian which will bend a company to their knees or ban them for not complying

On other devices (like Nokia, Blackberry or Sony Ericsson) you were not stuck with preinstalled apps. You was able to download Java and in case of Symbian S60 devices also Symbian apps from the internet.

I hope somebody will make a documented history on Google Play Store.
