xperia is the winer for me.
and even if it wasn't, it's the only flagship that doesn't suck nowadays.

Sony mistake - No US market. I was hopping to get one, but not avail. S24 Ultra user here. Hate it. The most horrible pictures I ever experienced out of the phone. Will return it.

Iphone is the most overrated smartphone nowadays 😅

Expecting a one inch sensor camera,not AI enhacements .... All the phone companies have forgotten that a bigger sensor means more quality both in video and in photos,especially in low light situations where the most of the phones are weak .

The Sony was still the best for me although i was surprised by the iPhone also being fairly neutral and the Pixel being so overprocessed, especially the contrast. Also surprised that the oversaturated food shot was Sony 😂

I would buy Sony if they sold in Canada with warranty

Pixel 8 pro seems to win in 90%

The Xperia to me seemed like the best allrounder. While in a lot of your examples I preferred another phone, the Xperia always was either first or a close second. Except for the selfie, where the Xperia was the worst by far. All 3 phones have a really good camera though. I think the Xperia still is the best phone for photos thanks to the dedicated shutter button and the Micro-SD slot, this is really unique

Iphone had better video, pixel better at night however the sony awaiting update, the more technical photos has to be the sony. Dont much care for selfies.

The daylight photos are almost universally Xperia wins, by the looks. Only the selfie shot let it down.

watching from slovenija europe on my 470 € xperia 1 III in 4k 🤣
sony has a dedicated photo button and that makes you take a picture in two seconds. That's why it's a winner and I'm sticking with sony. I've had 5 sony smart phones already over the years and they all still work. The only thing that bugs me is that they didn't keep the 4k screen.
also the amount of accessories that sony has available makes sony the best option on the market. would be nice to see the comparison again with all phones on their latest build. this doesn't really do sony justice because the quality will surely improve. have a great day 😉😘

I owned the Xperia Pro-I a while ago and loved the natural looking photos, then switched to Pixel where I hate the excessive pixel processing and over-sharpening (which you can also see in many of your examples).

I picked the iPhone for the dolphins in the night shot but it was otherwise 60-40 in favor of the Xperia 1 VI. That definitely has me thinking of importing one instead of getting a Pixel 9 Pro.

When it comes to camera features, the other videos that i watched i think the xperia with latest upgrades is a beast if you know how to use it in full manual..

You did some major adjustments to get the Sony to look this good. How do I know? Because for the selfie pics there is little or no adjustment available so what you see is what you get. And Sony's pics always looks blown out.

Pictures are a toss up with the pixel and Sony. Video is a toss up with the iPhone and Sony. So overall I'd go with the Sony.

Xperia close third. Some good shots but mainly not so. Until Sony upgrade the old\outdated 12mp sensors, then it'll be the way.
