Ответитьi been fasting for 2 monts now. i was 200 lbs (6'2") now i am 175. i m fasting for 18 hours and i do light exercises daily. i lost 25 lbs in 2 months and i feel great.
my first meal of the day is oatmeal at 12pm. then i eat fruit or healthy stuff at 3pm. the dinner is the only actual meal i have during a day at 6 pm.
i also stopped eating any thing that has sugar in it , any kind of fried food, processed food, gluten and alcohol :)

ОтветитьBack when I was vegan I would do a 24 hr fast every once in a while also not using technology or anything that triggered dopamine for that time period. The first few hours would always be a little grueling but about 6+ hours in there was a a lot of mental clarity and overall euphoria. Especially after eating that first meal after the 24 hrs and rewarding myself with technology again. It is a very powerful experience not only for the body but also for the mind and soul, and I recommend everyone should try it at least once in their life. It can really change you as a person!

When I started, the first time I did it I struggled. But from that point on its absolutely fine. After a certain time, the hunger hormone is switched off. You’re left with a slight feeling of emptiness in the stomach but it’s not uncomfortable or anything, just an awareness that your stomach is empty.
I urge anyone to give it a try for a week!
Start with a slightly later breakfast (say around 11am) and a slightly earlier dinner (around 6-7pm). If you do this then you will leave 16 hours for fasting - for most of which you’ll be asleep!

If you feel hungry, drink water
Brush your teeth when you feel hungry, people tend to not eat right after brushing
Even if you don't lose weight on the day you fasted, don't be deflated, you still saved money from not buying food
Read about refeeding syndrome first if you plan to fast for days
I've been fasting for about 3 years now started when i was 17 and I've only lost about twenty pounds or so I only weighed 190 and now I'm down to 170 and thinned out pretty
good exercising and things like that feel pretty good to me in fact I actually do feel better exercising before I started whenever I try to run I felt sluggish and I felt like it was too much effort now it feels like nothing to me and I'm way faster now I only feel like eating once or sometimes twice a day and that's it
I'm 5,6 I went from 207 down to 193 pounds from intermediate fasting and working out and eating clean as can be
ОтветитьI am now 20 hour off 4 hour on fasting everyday. The craving the first week or two or if you break fast is awful but if you stay consistent your body adapts and you will only feel hungry during your eating time frame. Also make sure to eat 1 meal at the beginning of your 4 hours and one meal at the end of your 4 hours this helps ensure your energy levels and subside cravings. Also try to not eat at least 4 hours before sleep. I go to bed around 11 or 12 at night so I tend to eat between 4-8 or 5-9. Also its nice that you can eat whatever you want. If you are unsure about this practice consult your doctor. Good luck and good health.

ОтветитьI like when people debate about whether to fast or not. The word "deprive" gets used when referring to missing a meal or two. You're not "depriving" anything. If you're not hungry you don't eat.

Ответить5 days one meal and i feel great! Headache only feels 1 out of 10. It seems difficult because of the hunger feeling but I have worst feeling than hunger which is chest pain which is going away now. I feel better now with fasting.

ОтветитьI've been on intermittent fasting for the last 4 months. The first month, I dropped 6kg (= +/- 13 lbs). Then I added in exercise the next month, and dropped another 3 kg (= +/- 6lbs). Then the month after that, I added in walking and running and dropped yet again 3 kg (= +/- 6 lbs). Then last month was the same thing with even harder exercises and I lost another 2 kg (+/- 4.4 lbs). Overall, that's around 13 lbs I lost on IF alone and an additional 17 lbs I dropped on IF combined with exercise. I also managed to put on muscle mass over the last 3 months. I look completely different. If you're trying to lose weight, try IF, it works like crazy.

People got to understand that fasting is part of the benefits. When you stop eating all these foods that are filled with gmo, bad carbs and non healthy calories, you’re giving your body a break.

Just lowering your food intake will help you lose a lot of weight. Stay under 1k calories a day and you’ll shred lbs. it’s basically fasting but you can still eat a little throughout the day. Just stay away from junk foods and substitute some fruit for other snacks. I lost 20lbs in 6 weeks by just lowering my calorie intake.

Ответитьdoing 9 days, no food at all. doing the full 24hr fast, im only gonna drink tea and water. maybe some low calorie foods but most likely not. wish me luck, i'll update this too. even though i am underweight, with a bmi of 17.2 i'm still gonna do it. fasting works well for me, i also frequently exercise while fasting. it helps me through my fasts and i lose more weight.
