As one of those people for whom CAT didn't fall in place but XAT did, all the best to everyone taking the exam this year!

One tangible tip I can give that helped me in my second attempt at XAT:

Even if VARC is your best section in CAT, be extremely selective with your VARC questions in XAT. If you are unsure, it pays to skip and come back to such questions (only if you feel you've attempted too few in the section).

Of course this may vary in your year but in general the VARC section in XAT had tended towards the hard side in recent years, so be comfortable in answering fewer questions than CAT.

Can anyone confirm if there is reservation for seats in Xlri. Getting different answers everywhere

after 6 months of intense preparation and then messing up CAT, I am finding it so incredibly hard to stay motivated. My intensity is nowhere near what it was.

I am not preparing for xat but still listing Rajesh sir 😁
