All robs gore scenes are so comical and lack any genuine shock factor.
The blood is always the wrong colour and the limbs are always so synthetic looking it just never packs a decent punch.

I know Rob Zombie isn’t for everyone but damn I really like his films. Huge guilty pleasure for me. They are always so weirdly edited and the dialogue is always so over the top and dumb it makes it a black comedy pretty much. Visually, its always some sort of gritty, hillbilly hell scape with a grind house quality to it. While I do think The Devils Rejects is his best quality film overall, I love this one just as much because of how unique and different it is to his other more serious/sadistic works. This was a black comedy horror to me.
