nice job explaining the stock differences and short coming of the first one.
ОтветитьHave you tried many different name brand ammo? I have tried CCI Standard Vel, Norma Tac 22, Fed GM just to name a few. I found Eley Target ran the best out of my MK II TRR SR. I can get sub MOA groups at 100yds with Eley and Norma Tac 22. Fed GM the groups open up. I got also got some good groups out 200 yds. I have a 25 MOA rail for my optics that helps me get out to 200+ yds. The Savage MKII TRR's are quite the shooters. I use MKII to shoot on the cheap while I wait for my main rifle to cool down when putting a lot of rounds down range.
ОтветитьDude I just bought the FV SR for the exact same reason and I'll be running the same scope and same suppressor. Did we just become best friends? Do you wanna do karate in the garage? I'm going to try and get by with a kydex cheek rest for now but I don't blame you for getting this stock - looks great. I'll probably get one eventually. It would be super interesting to see some groups with factory vs aftermarket stock using match ammo to see if the boyds improves group size.
Seeing it sit there in the factory stock you can definitely see how high that cheek riser is going to need to be.... shyit I might just pull the trigger on the boyds. Thanks bro
Pillar and glass bedding made a big difference for mine.
Ответитьis this the same stock i would need for the 93 fv sr 22 mag version????
ОтветитьI purchased the CZ 455 Tacticool with this stock, adjustable trigger pull, and threaded barrel (heavy barrel). I love it, but I wish I'd seen this video first- I would have liked spending a hundred bucks less.

ОтветитьI'm getting into NRL22 also. I've got a Mk ii FV SR on the way. I got this stock ordered tonight. Going to put a Sightron S-Tac 4-20x50. I'm going to try one of those knock off Atlas bipods. I also ordered some SK rifle match ammo. The next match is 7-14, so not much time.
ОтветитьHello! Good look rifle, but why you buy stock for 200 dollars, and forget about b22 stock? How do you feel about b22 and her derivative?
ОтветитьWonder if I could get one of those for my Savage 93 Mag.
ОтветитьLOL. Okay you answered the question AFTER I had posted the question.
ОтветитьShould have bought a CZ
ОтветитьI just bought a savage rifle and was looking to make changes then I seen your video great ideas.
ОтветитьBed it. the front lug hole Will crack.
ОтветитьIs it more accurate? By how much?
ОтветитьGood vid man👍🏽. I have a similar set up and was thinking about changing again to the Boyds AT ONE in pepper. Tacticool still need a cheek riser. How’s yours been?
ОтветитьAny difference in weight on the factory stock and the boyds?
ОтветитьJust bought a Savage FV-SR , slapped a scope on it and it has a great weight. Thick barrel for a 22 gives good weight
Ответить224.00 NOW
ОтветитьBesides the feel of the rifle did putting on a stock that cost just as much as the rifle and prove the accuracy
ОтветитьThe Savage MkII FV-SR is a 93e. Indact, Savages website states this. Just an FYI.
I have a Boyd's "Tacticool"/Pro Varmint on my Savagw Axis. That's another story all together.
I have more of a question then a comment when you ordered your stock did you order the bull barrel stock or the factory stock cuz I have the exact same rifle and want to change that stock out
ОтветитьFloating barrol is intresting the barrel not acculy touching that stock all way down ya ...I painted my stock coyote brown, two toned black...it was gator green,, I don't have suppressor fir mine na wouldn't mind one ...idk thise lisenced thing's, wouldn't believe it but its .5 in long enough not be considered a pistola mine 16.5 in barrol.
