Synco Wireless Microphone or the Rode Wireless Go?

Does the Synco have internal backup recording like the Rode?

I skipped the Rode before and got myself a Voical Air, trying to save money. Worst decision I made. Sorry Synco, I'm going Rode go this time.

thats still pretty cool that this synco can sound like the rode or as good as - especially at close range or long range without interference... if you are in a bind for budget - this is a no-brainer. how often are you 230 ft away or 200 ft away from your camera -- mm.. who knows.. for me, i would go with both - rode being my main mic, but synco being a backup any day.

what about the latency ? any difference?

Does the Synco receiver have a screen and can you adjust the audio gains?

most of there wireless microphones are fine with sound quality, problems are interference and signal interuption...so dji mic should be best option in that regard

Excellent Test & review on this item Synco Wireless Mic system I'd never heard of before!

I have the SYNCO & like it but it has one bug: it jumps to the next gain setting when you turn it off & on. From 1 to 2, and then 2 to 3. Then 3 to 1 & repeat. So, between uses you have to keep manually setting the gain to avoid having some takes louder than others, and without a gain indicator the only way to know the current gain level is through headphones. (Or keep a notebook of what the previous gain level was so you know the current one is one above)

I'm going to buy synco because it's a cheaper option, I like the rode brand in the television production company that worked, we used to shoot

Horrible pieces of shit. I bought these and used them on a real conference event for a client. There were about 20 people in the room and the signals would not pass through people's bodies.

I ended up having to rearrange the receiver higher in the air which helped out a little but then whenever the presenter would move her hand in front of the transmitter when talking it would cut out the signal.

These may be great if you're sitting right in front of the camera and there's a direct line of sight between the transmitter and the receiver but they're horrible for real world use case of the talent moving around.

listening back to this video, after I bought the Synco microphone. YOU DEFINITELY NOTICE a hissing sound coming out of Synco vs the Rode. Going to be returning the Synco and getting the RODE. That hissing noise is insane and you have to do audio post to even minimize that.

People need to start testing these mics in REAL WORLD situations and not just in a straight line from the receiver.

Nice review but talking about distances in tribal measurement units like feet or other body parts can be confusing.

I have stupid Rode mic , I have been using them for 2 months and now the receiver need to be connected to the charger all the time ( something wrong in the battery) , it’s super hassle for me to hold the power bank that connected to the mic and it’s always turning off while taking videos , then later on I realize that no voice in my video, I had to repeat the whole shit again . I couldn’t use the warranty because I bought them from Japan FREE TAX . Any way I couldn’t skip the video without saying thank you , press LIKE and leave a comment .. however I don’t comment in videos but you deserve it ..You did a great Job and you helped me and now I am going to buy Synco .

The RØDE may sound a bit better out of the box, but I think you can EQ and make up that difference quite easily. Noise? Again, that can be dealt with in post.

The RØDE has better distance performance - but how often are you using it that far away from your camera? I have the Synco kit which was reviewed here. I am happy with the performance - the newer G2 system has more display options on it, but so does the Wireless GO 2, so they're a separate consideration.

The price? Unbeatable. Synco wins on pricepoint; I can do a two-mic video for less than the cost of a single-mic kit from RØDE.
