Hi Alex, I've a nodejs backend I hosted on DO and have my subdomain point to the ip address. However, when I try to acess that subdomain it sometimes returns "server IP address could not be found". Would using cloudflare help in my case?

Very Bad Service By Cloud Fare- I got SSL from them and for that I was asked to changed nameserver, I did and then cloudfare eat my website. Now my website is disappeared and all this due to cloudfare. Never Ever use cloudfare- They are fraud and website will never be secured

Hi thank you for this. I did find I had to keep 'Your SSL/TLS encryption mode is Flexible' to 'Flexible' otherwise I kept getting the 402 error message.

Cloudflare uses cookies if Im not mistaken, so you also have to create cookies consent right?

I have tried to walk through this tutorial for setting up cloudflare on an oracle free tier but when i set it up, at least what i think is set up. nothing works. when i go to my hestiaCP it shows an error of to "connection timed out" and for the webmail and wordpress site i get the error " too many redirects" domain name is with namecheap. If i leave the dns pointing to namecheap everything works fine, i only get those issues when i point the name servers to cloudflare's nameservers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Quick question about Oracle cloud: can I run the openvpn and Ubuntu desktop VM on the same free tier?
Can I use Linux instead of Ubuntu which is shown in your remote desktop video?

One NB thing - pay attention to the ORDER that CloudFlare processes things.... They show this in a top-bottom order in the dash, I think under security.

This optimises things in general and makes sure you are processing the right rules/data, in the right sequence as defined by CF.

I'd also do some blocking for Geo/country/ASN in general, and specifically setup allowed IP's or countries to your login page.

CF tunnels can also be used to restrict access to your website's login page.

With Wordpress, I let CF process the usual HTAccess stuff and then I mirror that in my local WP HTA file, juuuust incase.
