As a Yakuza Kiwami fan, I can confirm that's how it goes when fighting majima. Though I love fighting him.

The orphanage is the best part about 3. It develops a lot Kiryu's character, how he cares for all those goofballs and how he has now a life to live outside the Tojo. Also, I love how Rikiya and the guys interact with them, it makes this matter even more because even the 3 of them want to protect the orphanage as well, since they got attached to the kids.

Yakuza 3 combats pretty shit, however: it teaches you a VALUABLE lesson that makes the other games easier: Enemies cant block from behind. Learning to effectively read patterns and work on your reflexes teaches you how to get behind them and sidestep fluidly to commit major ass whooping. This also inadvertently teaches you the value of counters and wall bounding, since every hit you can get has to count, so the more the better

i absolutely love the orphanage part but i will likely be dreading it on replay when imma be going for a 100% legend playthrough
