So should we connect the plus end of the megger to the body or to the winding? so how should the correct polarity be?
ОтветитьExcellent ❤
ОтветитьThankx
ОтветитьPlease explain with audio this is not useful.. can't understand for freshers
ОтветитьApart from this tests which one is insulation resistance (IR) test?
ОтветитьWhere are the equivalents to 7,8 & 9 leads?? What kind of sorcery is this?
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьTaking too much time. Out in the real world the production boss demands quick but accurate troubleshooting. I was an industrial electrician for 50 great years and NEVER removed jumpers on an POS IEC motor or wasted time measuring resistance from IEC motor coil to another. If a winding is shorted or grounded does not matter because motor must be replaced ASAP. Ran several 480 motors with 5 meggerohms from motor coil to ground. You placed one merger lead on a painted surface . A big no no . Must be clipped to ground screw or bare clean metal. Should tell people that merger voltage is supposed to be double the line voltage plus a hundred volts so you need a 1,000 volt merger to properly measure a 480 volt motor. I own a nice 5,000 volt merger that found grounds in several 4,160 volt motors over the years.
ОтветитьIt is unnecessary to remove the star connection when doing insulation resistance test.
ОтветитьSimplify about the motor
ОтветитьVery good👍👍👍
ОтветитьFirstly: What is the allowable value of the insulation resistance? Secondly: You must reverse the connections of your device, the positive terminal will be connected on the winding and the negative terminal on the the motor housing. Good luck!
ОтветитьShould have shown a bad one.
ОтветитьSir motor windings are connected in star or delta ? Bcoz there's no strip.
