Tips to Die Less in Tarkov | Escape from Tarkov

Wait before burying your head in someone's bunghole after you drop them. They may have friends around who won't take it too kindly that you just sent their buddy back to the menu. Don't flop down on the body to search it either. Drop your gear in a safe location at least 50m away, then go equip theirs. Take anything you want from their pockets, then haul ass back to your gear. This way you can rifle through their rig and pack in relative safety.

This ties into the 'trust your instincts' tip. If at any point in a raid you start repeating " I can get one more," leave. You're not Desmond Doss. Whatever it is that you want one more of will probably get you killed. Remember, the good Lord Nikita punishes hubris.

I think tip #1 is more, if you're not protected, become protected. If you feel vulnerable, find a safe corner to huddle in. Skurry to the bushes. Minimize and watch large angles, sprint through open spaces. Seek cover if shot at and hide, don't shoot back. Find a new angle and find them.

Commit to as little risk as possible. It's ok to sit and regain your mental facilities and listen to your surroundings.

Only play when the game is NOT BROKEN! If you do, the game will Cheat on you by not letting you shoot what you are aiming at.. even if its a scav at 3ft away with its back turned, I found that it will just shake off the bullets to the back of his head like their spit balls! Or i spawn in Dead because the game let a scav kill me while the map was still loading up... skill issue huh! I mean it has to be my fault because the trolls that thinks eft is better than Sex... yeah, better than the sex you have with your uncle!

Another good tip would be to always assume that there is one more, this rule has saved me countless times because I was too schizophrenic to just immediately start looting.

Railway is just as bad as emercom. And it's camped as often if not more.

Honestly i used to run a sj6 every raid an sprint to the hot spots before anyone would even get there loot an dip. An killed hella people cause i was in better spots faster than other pmc.

The biggest thing that helped me was just don't sprint everywhere. You'll probably hear others first and you'll have stam to either engage or disengage.
