Just had this done to me and it hurt like hell. It felt as if my skin was being ripped off my leg. I’m not sure how long this is supposed to take to improve healing, but I’ve noticed no difference with my pain

Hello, would you suggest the Graston Technique for breaking up scar tissue associated with a quadriceps tendon repair? I had surgery 10 weeks ago and am having some difficulty making gains in ROM. My PT says it is because of the buildup of scar tissue. She mentioned MUA as a possible next step for breaking through that. I would like to avoid that and wonder if the Graston Technique could help. Thanks!

hey there I do free running and gymnastics and last couple months I have noticed knee pain in my right knee it only hurts when I jump really hard I can still train through the pain but I would realer not in case it gets worse and I warm up before and after and its juring training I feel the pain then when I stop and rest it goes away depending how hard I train and the pain is round my patellar tendon. when i run it doesn't hurt but climbing the stairs jumping and sitting down and straighting my leg I feel mild discomfort. do you think this is serious or would I be able to get it back in shape with strengthing exercises

I started feeling slight pain and strange feeling in my knee after squats (powerlifting). I don't know what is the reason for that, my technique is solid and I know how to perform a squat. It is making me desperate, because I don't know if I can keep squatting or not, and if I stop and show it to the doctor, if I will ever be able to squat again. Please answer. Thank you.

What about if the pain is directly above the knee, what could it be?  I have been battling that and not quite sure what is the cause.  I do a lot of HIT, Les Mills Grit training and such.  I have seen a couple of chiropractors but none have solved the pain issue. I only get pain on lunges and squats, sometimes when running but not all the time.

Hello Doctor maybe you can help me. I have been having knee problems for the past 3.5month. I am an amature figure competitor (a devision of bodybuilding), so I am really serious about lifting weight, fitness, nutrition and overall health. Out of the blue my knee started hurting. I have had an MRI and x-rays done. I was told the problem i have right now is a patella tracking disorder. Even trying to do nody weight squats I feel and enormous amount of pressure on my knee cap. Feels like the pain is inside the knee cap in the middle. I have also looked at the MRI images also. Assuming my knee is bent and I amlooking from the top view, my patella is tracking lateral with a slight tilt. The back of the patella is also making contact with my top part of my feamur bone slightly above the trochlear groove (which is quite shallow for me) it seems. I am doing physical therapy right now trying to stabilize every thing and work on my tracking but it seems to be ineffective. I know last resort is getting a lateral release surgery but I am really trying to avoid surgey. Any suggestions or opinions??

Hi, last year, i went to turn and walk and must not have turned my leg and twisted it and sent a sharp pain in my left knee, no swelling noted, but pain in the right side of my knee cap... i could not even bear weight on it for 3 days, on crutches, then was limping for at least a few weeks, now it is 1 year later, still with alot of knee discomfort. My chiro didn't seem to think a torn meniscus...but i am still having discomfort in the knee everyday, will this procedure help??
