I just want to take a second to say THANK YOU for continuously tuning into my channel. I pray that this and future videos continues to assist you on your journey to the top.
ОтветитьI can made 10 track for 50$ I do make songs music exactly what how autor of the video described.
ОтветитьThats some solid info. Very useful - Thanks
ОтветитьThank you. This's really helpful!
ОтветитьHello from 2021.
ОтветитьI know right I've sold the most simplest beats and be like hold up why not the beats i put my blood sweat and tears on ?LOL
ОтветитьYour first point about simple beats selling is spot on.If it’s mixed well, and the kick and 808 knock, people will go with the stripped down type over crazy produced beats 9 out of 10 times. Although it is nice when your beats that you added a lot to also sell!
Ответитьbeginner prod here...really helpful
ОтветитьSuch valuable info , Thanx bro , I dig the intro too
ОтветитьYes we do understand we do bro! 🤜
ОтветитьI just started posting my beats almost a month ago and haven't sold any yet. I know it's a process, im just tryna learn and grow
ОтветитьNo help, thanks
ОтветитьThis still facts in 2020, I sell more beats that have like 2-3 melodic elements that's it
ОтветитьIts funny because you look at alot.. not all famous rappers Travis Scott Kanye west have full beats.. rappers just don't know how to rap over anything but fl keys and a 808
Ответитьthis is actually true. I made a rapper listen to one of my beat which had a crazy melody and he was like its good but uh its too much instrumental and I was like wth it supposed to be then and I sat up thought about it, it make kinda sense. but those beats does make one killer track when we find the gun to the holster
ОтветитьThe stripped down beats mix better. A beat with a few instruments in it will sound really crispy. Mustard gained success off of simple beats like this. And when I scroll thru beatstars to freestyle on the way home, it's always the beat with one mid-range sound over it doing the melody.
ОтветитьBut if the beat ain't hot, the song is not.
ОтветитьLearned something and enjoyed watching, thanks Curtis :)
ОтветитьThis is actually true trust me.
ОтветитьCurtiss you're telling the truth here man. I was just making some music for one of my boys (I am not a big producer) and when he asked me to take out over half my sounds I felt disrespected. Sound Words. Keep leading the way.
ОтветитьO my god i love this channel! I've been producing for about 1 year now and i'm just starting to license my beats, promote my beats, etc and i just wanted to say that your channel has helped me out so much! thanks for the guidance Curtiss!
ОтветитьAs usual.. always great, substancive, valued content. I felt this 1💪🏾🙌🏾
ОтветитьWell i really needed this video. Just yesterday i was working on a beat with an artist, that said that he loved the beat but it was just too noisey... so i ended up deleting so many instruments bruuu
Ответитьman all my beats that are simple sell the most.. like a beat i thought was ass to me sold for 300... i seriously was not going to post the beat but i said fuck it... lol
ОтветитьDid anyone else hear durag flow come on?
Ответитьi see those speakers from spongebob lol. but also great info and incite, thank u
Ответитьa vocal is a big instrument, especially when they decide to layer it with harmonizing adlibs + autotune/reverb/delay so if i got too many instruments doing different things (not layered stacks of the same melody) in my beat its gonna fight the vocals
ОтветитьNobody listens to gfunk in winter and nobody listens to hardcore hip hop in summer
ОтветитьCurtiss "Hound Dog" King
Ответить🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀, when you described the rapper listening to you making the beat, "where do i come in?"
ОтветитьCurtiss King Type Beats

bro your intro is waay to long
ОтветитьI've been out of the game for a while so all these Gems are greatly appreciated. When I was doing music previously though I was rarely had a chance to finish tracks from a beatmaker standpoint because I was co owner of an Indie label but I was the beatmaker and mix engineer so artist were literally scooping up every loop as fast as I could make them so I could never just make beats I would sculpt the track around what they came up with. However I know that level of involvement is not an option and so after a 15 yr hiatus I am enjoying just making beats but I am also seeking the best way to monetize what I am doing. Mr. King's videos have been a great help.
ОтветитьMan, thank u so much!
Ответитьman ive been tryna explain that to all my friends haha even rappers, they put aside songs that would blow up because THEY dont like it... wrong!
Ответитьi like your stuff !!! 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
ОтветитьHahahaha the spongebob jellyfish party song 😂😂
ОтветитьThat 5 minute beat vs that 5 day beat. Ugggh ...5 min 5 track wins!!
ОтветитьReal talk lol
ОтветитьNot yours
ОтветитьCan you guess which one of my beats stell the most?
ОтветитьSold 130 outta 135 last year. Variety, Quality, Creative, Unique.. Rarely trap, be a leader not a follower.
ОтветитьTrue lol I’m at 10-12 minimum
ОтветитьThis makes so much sense now lol great video!
ОтветитьAfro Beats sell more than hip hop beats
ОтветитьThis is 1 of the reason's why I follow you, good👍 insight. The content needed to know. Keep up the good work and thanks. 💯🎤🎧🎹
ОтветитьYour good at what you do bro. Like a duck in water lol. I think your only going to grow. You motivate me.
ОтветитьAs producers, we got to have an ear for the people.
