HELLO there and welcome back to the tyler channel revival! Today we’re making an unsavory steak dish featuring peanut butter, a T-Bone, and an angry celebrity chef. what do you guys think? would you try the ~peanut butter steak~? and yes, we know this is not how you're supposed to cook an actual steak - and yes, we know that the peanut butter jar we used is already contaminated even though we didn't spoon the stuff from the pan back in the jar! we did have to retire the jar after this video... i hope you guys enjoy this cursed culinary behavior, and we’ll catch you in the next video!
ОтветитьI imagine this tasting as Kare-Kare, a Filipino cuisine.
Ответитьtbh if it was just a butter basted steak with some roasted crushed peanuts garnish it would be fire
ОтветитьI think a [peanut butter+sriracha] sauce added during the last half of cooking the steak may be good, but not coating the steak.
great video btw
Not sure why Gordon didn't even consider this?? Peanut butter is salt and sugar and flavor and fat, like any sauce or condiment is made of... I'd make sure to use no sugar added peanut butter and probably melt it before putting the steak in the pan and cook it in the melted fat of the butter
ОтветитьI feel like cooking it with butter and thyme maybe like onions and stuff too like they normally do to kinda like marinate it, probably would've tasted like.. Maybe better
ОтветитьHeat not hot enough. Too much peanut butter put on way too soon.
ОтветитьOkay, but there's a restaurant in Macon, Georgia that serves something called "the Jimmy Carter burger." It's a burger with peanut butter and LET ME TELL YOU WHAT. That shit is delicious.
P.S. I think Peter Pan is the issue...it's the sweetest peanut butter!
Jar is contaminated anyway. He's spreading the peanut butter on the steak with the spoon then putting the spoon into the jar again.
ОтветитьThat looks disgusting 🤢😩😩😂
ОтветитьI know I’m gonna get so much hate for this but I dont have a good feeling about Carley. I get a pit in my stomach but I had to say it. Im gonna have so many ppl mad at me and im sorry I feel bad i just need to say it I don’t feel good it hurts my stomach.
ОтветитьThey need to get together with @mythicalkitchen and make the peanut butter and jelly Wellington happen. Or peanut butter jelly welly for short lol
ОтветитьJif ONLY!!!
ОтветитьThe PB should have been a very thin coat, and only on one side so it could be browned, and a bit of salt would help.
ОтветитьI can imagine this being good with (e.g. Dutch Gwoon) peanut butter whose only ingredient is peanut 😂
Ответить"weird" cooking videos with "weird" sounds and the creators saying slightly suggestive things like "oh yeahh lets spread it", and using their hands is 9/10 fetish content
Ответитьsomebody call the mcelroys, beef nuggets have been discovered!!!
ОтветитьSteak.. good… peanut butter… good. Can’t go wrong there.
Ответить"is this a Thai T-bone steak?" No because if it was it would taste good
Ответитьthe final steak looks a lot like milanesa, which is like breaded and fried flat steaks. no peanut butter in milanesa tho, fortunately
ОтветитьMy mom used to make chicken in a sauce that was some sort of combination of peanut butter and soy sauce (not sure what else) but god its delicious
ОтветитьI love this series
ОтветитьThis is reminiscent of peanut butter pork chops which are delicious.
ОтветитьIt’s pretty much keto
ОтветитьThis reminds me of the Peanut Butter Burger from Jungle Jim's in Orlando. Fl. It was a bacon cheese burger with lettuce. onion and tomato. I also added mayo and ketchup and the bottom bun was slathered with peanut butter. I asked for the peanut butter on the side because it would always melt and end up on the plate. It was my favorite burger there. So this dish doesn't sound much different. I would've at least added salt and pepper before the peanut butter. I would try this.🥩🍷
ОтветитьI accept your apology
ОтветитьWe make peanut butter soup and it is the best.
Ответить🎉CONGRATS ON THE BABY BAT!!🎉
ОтветитьA normal cooked steak eaten with the peanut butter on the side as a sort of dip might make the flavours come through clearer than trying to cook it all together
ОтветитьCheck out Eddie's million dollar cook off, I feel like that's where the inspiration came fro.
ОтветитьI’m imagining this tasting like a filipino dish beef kare-kare.
ОтветитьI’m 90% sure this is one of those fetish accounts. They do weird stuff, a lot of the time with food. Have a blonde girl making whatever it is, while they make “ooh” and “wow” noises. 9/10 they don’t eat whatever they make. Extra brownie points if they use their hands to mush stuff in.
One of the reasons I deleted tiktok coz it made me so uncomfortable lol
I saw this way back but just showed my husband (the meat guy). His response? Don’t disrespect the animal that gave this precious meat for you.
He loves steak, I love you guys!😂
Saf: so rather than cooking both flavors into the steak we cooked both flavors out
😂
Nice to see you guys in the kitchen. I agree that Gordon Ramsay should develop a recipe that takes these awful ideas and makes them palatable. Have you checked out Vincenzo's Plate where he criticized Ramsay for his "Carbonara"?
ОтветитьOooooohhh you chose the WORST kind of peanut butter. Yuck!
ОтветитьROVER! This honestly looks kind of dreadful but I do think Gordon could probably make it work somehow
ОтветитьGordan Ramsay should host a childrens cooking show.
ОтветитьYou know why it looks appetizing?? Bcs it looks like rendang 🤣🤣🤣 or satay, but satay is skewered chicken with peanut sauce, so perhaps it looks like rendang and taste like satay 🤔🤔
ОтветитьPeanut butter on a hamburger is delicious.
ОтветитьI make a recipe close to this but with pork tenderloins. I just add lots of peanut butter, crunchy is even better, soy sauce and a few other things. It’s actually super good.
My mom’s friend would but peanut butter on her hamburgers, was good.
*Slathering not lathering
I hate to be that person but I'd always rather someone corrects me than let me keep using a word incorrectly so hopefully you're the same!
It's not keto. There's way too much sugar in the peanut butter.
ОтветитьI love Saf's mole story 🥰🤭 so cute
Ответитьthere is a slightly similar dish in Indonesian cuisine
ОтветитьY'all should have used peanut oil
Ответитьso in my culture there is a breaded steak dish! so when saf mentioned it i was like "oh, yeah, absolutely"
ОтветитьThis was 100% a troll.
And I love it.
