Some of the most sincere guys if had pleasure of serving with ,glad they were on our side 👍
ОтветитьBest mountain climbers and Warriors ❤
ОтветитьAyo Gorkhali
ОтветитьWe have a procedure in case a recruit should fail,
But Gorkhali do not fail.
T'is a silly procedure really but we keep it anyway.
From childhood I used to think that Pashtuns🇦🇫 are most courageous warrior community, but believe me few months back I learned about Gurkhas🇳🇵
Now I can clearly say Gurkhas > Pashtuns
I'm neither Gurkha bor Pashtun, I'm Rajput
We all are Marshal communities of South Asia, but Rajputs are more developed then them
Brilliant boys love them because met them fight for uk
ОтветитьWhy was there still a damn british guy there?
ОтветитьInfantry
ОтветитьMy weapon of choice for a zombie apocalypse
ОтветитьMy mum isn't a soldier. But she always carry a solid khukuri on her. She's rather a dedicated farmer. Cuts through the branches and whatevers on her way. She sure looks intimidating. I'm a nepali btw. And khukuri is such a common weapon in our daily life.
ОтветитьIF GOD HAS A FRIEND THAT FREIND KNOWS THE GHURKAS
ОтветитьHow to register in this Armys Company and join For War ?😅🎉
ОтветитьImagine walking down the street and over a little fence you see these guys doing their war cry with the Kukri.
ОтветитьAhhh Yes the DRILL TEST I used to love them 🤔
Ответить"The Khukri is no longer the Ghurkas primary weapon" Oh my sweet summer child. They don't use them for letter openers.
ОтветитьThe Gurkhas pride of the British army loyalty and respect 🏴👍😄
ОтветитьKurki is still blade of gurka regiment and they still use it
ОтветитьEvery strike is a decapitation 😅
Ответитьlegend has it that it is Gorkha tradition that the Kukri once drawn shouldn't be sheathed unless blood is drawn. if the Gurkha couldn't shed the blood of his enemy, he should at least cut himself to shed his own blood. Gorkhas are the fiercest and most disciplined warriors in the world.
ОтветитьMoney worker why so proud don t
Forget Afghanistan ha ha
We need immigration from Nepal, IMO.
ОтветитьThe last part is untrue. The gurkha does have a kukri whit him in the field.
ОтветитьI like their motto; "Better to die than live as a coward."
Ответитьthese guys are easily amongst the most robust troops in the army
Ответитьwe always feel proud on our hindu gorkha forces......jai maha kali ❤️💕❤️
ОтветитьI had the honour of having 2 Ghurkas in my work last year. They were perfect examples of the honour and dedication shown by these soldiers over the centuries
ОтветитьThe Gurkhas are coming the most feared sentence in the english vocabulary
ОтветитьIf they trained Gurkhas in Krabs maga we’d get the most badass warriors for nato.
ОтветитьWhat a honor it would be to earn one instead of just buying one and hoping for the best
ОтветитьOunce for ounce the Ghurkha is the finest fighting man alive.
ОтветитьAs an American, I'd like to know the history behind why the British military marches & salutes in the manner they do.
ОтветитьDo they have real combat experience in recent years?
ОтветитьThan Katana sword?
ОтветитьSo glad to have these guys defending our country
ОтветитьThe Argies did not like the cookri knife
ОтветитьKukri can decapitate a man...simple yet highly effective...it's not the knife it's the man behind the knife...
In Iraq I was clearing trenches in Iraq was there. Enemy trench. Enemy, He tried to bayonet me..rifle jammed. Dark tunnel me and him...I slit his throat...came out covered in blood and guts. They had to wash blood out of eyes. Where are you hit?? Not my blood. He's in there..... I still have his backpack..maps and effects to Intel... No remorse... Yelled Arabic to stop...he kept coming......it's on.. not dying here.
US Army special forces..combat vet 3 wars...... Knife and hand hand very important......save your life.....
Funny they told me no point to knife..I said I'll keep mine 2 weeks later this happen...always keep knife.
Just for the record most US army special forces guys are NOT huge monster bodybuilders. They are smaller or average. It's real muscle. Deep, strong muscle...a bodybuilder can't handle that. The also can't lift real weights for a prolonged period of time. I routinely carried heavy pack for 40-50 miles. Carry my own weight. Weapon, packs,, ammo . US Army special forces retired.
Ответить"Every strike is a decapitation."
ОтветитьWow what a well-trained and well disciplined Army. Very high morale proud to be a soldier.
ОтветитьI do like the recruits get a wooden Khukuri because they have yet to earn the real one. It makes the blade all that more special
ОтветитьIf I saw a Gurkha coming at me with that crookery I’d just accept I’m about to lose
Ответить“The Kukri is no longer the Ghurka’s primary weapon….”well whilst that might be true in theory, there are more than enough of the enemy (those that survived) that might disagree with that claim. A damn good bunch of lads. Still, it’s hard not to remember every disgraceful British government that held the Ghurka’s from retiring/settling in the UK when they had completed their service.
ОтветитьKinda cute.
ОтветитьWhat is the traditional way to earn the kukri.?
ОтветитьWhere are they all now? Did they achieve their ambitions? Are they happy in the UK? Would be so interesting to know and to hope that they are progressing well.
ОтветитьOne of the coolest group in the British army how can you not love them😁
ОтветитьThe bravest of the brave
