Great video. Thanks for sharing it. Set up my three cam's with ease after watching this. The app is great. Did not realise I would need a monthly subscription, then again cloud storage is not free, so happy to pay it for now.

Can I connect power adaptor to it

Has anyone figured out why Ring cameras dont record package delivery from Fedex, UPS or Amazon? The motion detection mysteriously doesn't work when any of these deliveries happen, but when my lawn service is here, I'm getting notifications every 10 minutes.

Great video! A biggest deciding factor for me is the subscription plan. Right now, my cameras (not from Ring) alert me and send me clip of the video they took free of charge. Such alerts only happen once in two months, so a cloud subscription for a 10-second recording is not worth it. Does Ring offer alternatives, like local recording with a USB stick?

I have been looking everywhere but cannot find an explanation of what home and away settings are. I don’t want the camera on all the time we are at home, but this does not seem to be achievable

Can it do a snap shot every minute like the doorbell camera ?

Is the wifi range good? Im having trouble with my ring doorbell and i have to move my router, will this have same poor range

If you want PTZ, pan, tilt zoom better quality, you will be buying commercial grade cameras, not something marketed to "DIY homeowners". And, youll pay more money, esp. For installation, which is turn off, for the homeowner market.
