Forreals you motivated me to fast a bit in my own way and also I can relate to this so much because as a DJ for more than a decade that was a a lot the party life and as a Producer music making takes time it ain’t no race keeping it as a hobbie for now because it can be stressful too and I guess with all art and passion it takes time and patience and I feel you if it feels like work it’s like eh thank God we can go back to our senses and understand from the deep to seek true happiness amen sis!!!!! Thank you for this video cuz I experienced the same thing with hair. I learned to do hair for myself and before I knew it, people started asking for services in college. Initially it wasn’t bad, but then time standing up, people being picky, I barely made money for all my time given that I’m a perfectionist and I started hating doing other people’s hair including wigs. I remember shipping 3 wigs to this client and she complained about all of them and I had to send a free one. It took me a long time to stop because my peers thought I was crazy. I got to a point I hated doing my own hair so I decided to stop and now I only do my own hair which I enjoy again. Yes, not every passion should become a business.
