History lesson for those who don't know. Chas Chandler, the Animals bass player, now sadly passed away, was responsible for bringing Jimi Hendrix to England after he saw him in a Greenwich Village venue in the mid 60s. He gave Jimi Hendrix to the world. But The Animals from Newcastle were brilliant no denying.

Great music. Too bad they used women as circus props.

I did like this song way back when - great 👍 ... but what I liked best was Alan Price (on Organ) who left to go solo and had a very long musical career, wrote some good songs, has a magnificent voice and boy what a piano player ‼️ I saw him in concert around 1989/90 (🤔🤔) and he was superb, and Zoot Money was also in his group - he was sensational and it was an evening I shall never forget 💯💯💯‼️‼️👍👍🎼🎶🎵 Love You Alan 💚

Eric's voice is like solid gold. Having said that, all members of the band (or any modern band) should sing along with main singer on stage. Otherwise the audience will mistakenly think that singer Eric (or whoever) is the band leader.

Sorry boys, nowhere near as good as Sam Cooke.

"circus"? they are not a freak show Eric is one of the most soulful men I ever heard disappointing how showbiz degrades it's talent sometimes.

Absolute classic case of the brits showing the yanks how to do things, no slight on black muso's.

The Animals are, I think, the primary influence on The Doors.

So much money for set design, a whole fantasy world created only to bury the talent they should have shown.
