Error establishing a database connection

Watching someone paint a picture in 100 seconds will not teach anyone to paint.

Thank you very much, I was searching for this everywhere. I couldn't get nginx proxy manager working with wordpress. But this helped me, creds to you my man!

Unfortunately, I am getting the "Error establishing a database connection" message. I am not using localhost but the Ip of my virtual machine whcih is running CentOS 7. Any ideas what I can do to correct it and make it work? Thanks.

on which file does the wp_content will be? since I'm trying to cd on var/www there's no such folder
