ОтветитьI tried facegen a few years back, don't know whether it's improved, but back then I thought it was rubbish. If you take off the texture map the model itself has no resemblance. It's a low poly smooth mesh with limited features. It's only the fact it slaps the texture map on that it gives a resemblance, which if you slapped the texture map on any head would give a resemblance because we are looking at the texture map and not so much the facial land marks of the mesh itself. It has no normal map either.
To get the best resemblance in metahuman creator your original head has to be as accurate as possible, then create and export a conformed mesh in metahuman identity, export, sculpt, import back. Create metahuman id again but this time choose the create from conformed mesh and use the conformed mesh you imported. It will most likely be facing the wrong direction but that doesn't matter as you don't need the landmarks, you just click create metahuman. The result will be a nearer likeness.
You can then go onto improve the likeness in other ways that would take too long for me to highlight here.

ОтветитьPretty huge con for MetaHuman not mentioned: "Characters generated in MetaHuman Creator, including those in the sample project, are licensed for use in Unreal Engine projects. This means that you must render MetaHumans with Unreal Engine; you cannot render them outside of Unreal Engine."
