Like you said opening characters in apex sucks. İ have 33 hours in the game and i opened only one fricking chracter like WTF because of that i litrally stopped playing the game 8 months ago .

So close to mentioning it in the live-service portion but there's one aspect that's huge. Live-service, ie online-only games means that you can lose your games now. Back in the day, when you purchased your game, you owned it, there were flaws like losing your key or damaging your disc but the company that sold you the game couldn't take it back from you. Because of online-only games, whenever a company decides to shut down the server the game is needed to run, you're fucked, with no refund, no game. This online-only requirement doubly sucks for games that can be played solo, such as modern call of duty, which requires an internet connection even in singleplayer.

im sorry but how do you have almost 200hrs and only 2 legends in apex? that is a YOU issue no the game...you get a new legend every 25 level and it doesnt take long to get those levels

I think the internet was a net positive for gaming from 2001-2016 from 2016-2018 it was net neutral and from maybe mid 2018 on it’s just been a ever creeping downward trend

fun fact, in superhot on the switch, they never removed the suicide scene. j0t sure if they either forgot about the switch, or only removed it on PC, but you can still shoot yourself in Superhot on Nintendo. not sure about other consoles or Epic games tho

Point 4 is the most annoying to me for sure. I hate that artists get bullied for including controversial topics in their work. I don't remember the name of the game, but it popped off recently due the main characters being cannibalistic siblings with a hint of incest, and the creator got bullied into selling their IP as to distance themselves from the hate (for the incest, not the cannibalism lmao). Like I don't want safe hug-box stories, stories with insane, degenerate, and/or evil protagonists are so much more entertaining!

1) don't buy games on launch or pre-order anymore, wait for them to get fixed later, and refuse to be their free beta tester
2) don't buy cosmetics (exception: cosmetics that put money into a charity)
3) do research and don't play pay-to-win games. less players means they die, regardless of sales

Acktully, Hollow Knight is a terrible game which glorifies self harm. This is because of the Hollow Knight stabbing himself during the fight. HK should be removed from the internet and banned 😡😡

I want to know how you have 146hrs in apex and only 2 characters. Thats kind of amazing. I have 300 hrs and just about all of them. Never paid a cent

Theinternet has definetly had a positive effect on gameing when it comes to indie developers but also made AAA games pretty much all sh*t, the to buy all of the expantions for the sims 4 (which is where they keep 90% of the content) costs over 1k! And when it comes to gamers ruining games its probably a good thing elon musk bought twiter just to then imidiatly f*ck it up.

I'd say it's a slight net negative, but that's probably because it's the culture of a dying world that needs to enter a new era to feel fresh and open to new experiences.
