tbh you can get reliably in close range fights with scavs on woods by camping in the med base. at least for me, there was 1-2 scavs showing up there every minute or so.

Tarkov needed a quest revamp back when the game was actually good.

No the worst thing with the graphic cards is that they have to be found in raid like he can't just take one we buy or had in our secure container.

half of the quests make you go to shoreline or dorms. I dont like either of them.

If you haven't come up with the thought that battlestate games has no intention of ever releasing tarkov as they make plenty of money keeping it in beta and having the excuse that it's in beta if so they can get away with never finishing the game. If I'm wrong tell me I'm wrong?

I do 2-3 kills most raids I survive on woods, using a bolty is not a significant restriction

I have a total of over 800h now and in not a single wipe I even came close to the kappa container and i prob never will because i just don't have the time the skill nor the patience and determination to do necessary quests in one wipe

I hate the quests because you are forced to use garbage useless bolt actions for so much of the game. Legit awful design.

I have every quests on shoreline. Especially the ones involved with consitional kills

im convinced that the traders just tell you to do dumb stuff and see if you actually go through with it. "uhh yeah go to this scav area, but dont kill them, sit there for over a minute and leave lol"

I would love if Tarkov did more stuff like Test Drive (til you have to buy the thermal scope) but the quest is literally like here’s a OP kit kill some players at night. I would love if the gear restriction kit quests gave you it for free with some sort of cool down to restrict you

I have done two wipes and i was over it. It is unfun busywork. I go to work for that shit, hell I actually enjoy my job (veterinarian). I would prefer dealing with a dog actively seizuring in front of me and firing out if both ends than 70% of these fucking quests.

I did huntsman path justice by accident I'm always broke and ended up killing reshala with that armour and got a quest complete and was like .what

its a year later and almost everything u said with these quests have been reworked next time say u want a thicc case for killing the cultists lol

I really didn't play last wipe, but boy howdy am I happy to hear they not only rolled back the range increase on Shooter Born, but also just made it flat headshots with bolt actions with no range requirement.

I'm surprised you didn't mention hot delivery, you have to buy like 400k roubles in gear to sit in the open and stash it, just around the corner from the main PVP area, I fucking hate that quest, I personally have never had an issue with dying during it somehow but I have plenty of friends who have had to spend 2+ million on it

In the first wipes, you had to bring 7 gpus and 7 fan coolers for farming part4. That was hardcore man.

There deffo needs to be a part 2 rant on this, with the huge amount of added quests, and also the changed quest

Tarkov would be a fun game if you didn't need to grind through god awful quests to get decent gear. The quests are down right inexcusable for a game that charges as much as it does, they are akin to free MMORPG quests almost in their redundancy and tedious nature and are there purely to prevent fun honestly

samples is by far my least favourite quest in the game, it pretty much requires you to get black card first coz half the stims dont even spawn anywhere else

Tarkov shooter p8 should just be changed into "3 PMC kills in one life on woods" still not trivial, but at least its not totally RNG to even see 3 pmcs in one raid and its not determined by wipe progression as alot more pmc´s are on woods early wipe compared to mid/late wipe due to quests that take you there

The thing that sucks is the good quests are only considered "Good" in comparison to the other quests.

I know i'm 10 months late but lmao i didn't even realise they nerfed SBIH to 125m. There were so few locations where you could reliably get 100m headshots as is, let alone 125m. Never done that quest despite trying my hardest at 100m. Never going to either.

Quests are the exact reason why I never got into tarkov. I really don't have the patience to be doing the same set of objectives every time a wipe happens. I only play a couple of times anyway, and by the time I come back, I only come back to find I need to redo the entire questline progression again because of a wipe. Most of the quests aren't even that bad but doing them over and over again just gets super tiring.

3.5k hour non-eod nolifer, I generally hit level 40 and finish punisher for epsilon within first week of wipe and max traders by end of second. Not a fan of some missions but the game feels like runescape to me, so much to do and a sense of achievement for doing the difficult shit, sure SBIH sucks, but that means if you actually do it without cheesing it's rewarding. Agree im not a fan of missions that have you kill players in very specific locations. Actually would love to hand in blue and green to therapist would be a mad flex to go that route one time.

Hot take: streamers ruined Tarkov.

Tarkov introduce itself as this mix of Milsim and survival an average person could play. Streamers got super super serious about it, figured out exploitive meta equipment, and blew through the quests with their 16-hour game sessions, and that has shaped the gameplay changes ever since.

Every quest seems designed to not be too easy for a super sweaty streamer to complete.

The progression and the scarcity of certain items, and even the overpowered nature of armor all seem to be designed to be very hard for streamer to get these things but once they get it they're designed to be so overpowered that It's worthwhile for them and they can't really be beat.

you should do an update video on this and rank the major quest lines and notable quests instead of every single quest which is near impossible
