I’ve never seen an ice dance “couple” touch each other with such care, consideration and respect. I’m not talking the faked passion/love some pairs bring to the ice. These two are genuinely tender in the way they touch and I find it a joy to see. Their skill and artistry goes without saying 🤩😍🥰

disclaimer: i don’t know anything about ice dance, im just a regular dancer. perhaps that’s why i love this routine so much

Je crois que c'est leur meilleure prestation, la perfection-même, d'une grande précision et intensité. Après je regarde leur autre prestation (sur Fauré) à ces mêmes JO et je me dis la même chose, lol.
En tout cas, je suis toujours très émue à chaque fois qu'ils patinent. Je dois déjà saluer leurs entraîneurs, qui choisissent des musiques d'une grande sensibilité et proposent de magnifiques chorégraphies, avec des gestuelles adaptées et un imaginaire profond.
En plus de leur grand talent de patineurs, je suis toujours très touchée par la grâce et l'émotion qui se dégagent de Gabriela et la précision et la musicalité de Guillaume (seule petit bémol à mes yeux, je trouve qu'il danse parfois trop pour lui, mais pas ici).
En tout cas, merci à eux pour ce qu'ils nous offrent, c'est vraiment merveilleux ! PS: ah et bravo au caméraman !

I love this team. They both make the other look great. I could watch them everyday. I love how he skates. He puts so emotion in his movements. Beautiful pair. I cheer them on even though I am an American. I watch ice dancing not simply because I am an American. I watch it in the hopes of finding that special team which causes me to stop what I am doing and watch them turn ice dancing in a truly work of art. I am looking for perfection and if a couple from another catches my attention, they are it.
