I think the worship is separate from the preachers. They are making good worship Christian music. I can say that when i play hillsong worship and I pray and worship my Lord and Savior, the last thing im thinking about is how bad the preachers from these churches are. Just watch out for the lyrics which is why i stopped listening to worldly music. All things work together for our good remember this.

Preaching against faith movement churches yet christianity is built on faith. Hes ok with the baptist hymnal draw me nearer to thee, but pull me a little closer is anti-biblical??? Hes just looking for something to criticize the churches. The bible tells us to lay hands on the sick but yet these churches get bashed for preaching it. We can get so technical with lyrics and prob find something wrong with a lot of songs in churches. One baptist hymnal song reads He spilled his blood.....well spill is an accident so are you saying Jesus accidently spilled his blood for us?? Come on man lyrics are made to fit and rhyme so stop being so perfect and let God use people to bring them cloer to HIM!!

First off I wanna ask does your Church. Celebrate Easter and Christmas? These are mans traditions not Gods. Easter not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. And actually incorrect time. We are told in scripture it was the preperation day of passover. Zech 10 actually tells us not to learn the ways of Christmas(paraphrased) check the scripture youself. Most of the main stream Churches honor mans traditions not Gods. We should be alarmed by many.

I fully agree with him, A church or so called Christian assembly has become a bar room, so we know that Satan is in control, so the easy way is not to destroy the church fully but to bring in a little celebrity or nice time worship in it, so rebuke and correction is not preached, but well, you have said much about music, I have a question, shouldn't we also speak about the dress code, and behavior? (The bible says, "God is not the author of confusion, as in all the churches of the saints" 1 Cor 10 vs 5 and chpt 14 vs 33 to 40 ) now we find men praying with their heads covered, women almost naked, their heads shaven, the whole church speaking in so called tongues, so what do the pastors do about all the things, so my question to Justin Peters, is this not happening in your assembly? the Bible even warns about women preaching, do we not know that we shall be judged according to Paul's preachings? doesn't the Bible say come out among them? so we are also guilty for not addressing such.

Looking back at this, i actually agree. These songs fill so hollow & empty. I went back and listened to the old ones from the 90s and it actually has scripture in it and wotds of truth. Its interesting.

I love the old church hymns that people don't hear much anymore. I personally don't care for the music now a days.

Been listening to these songs lately

Within the first couple of minutes I had a problem with what Justin Peters is saying. The hymns of yore, which were based on bar tunes of the time, are ok to sing in the church but let's cast a wide net over modern worship? Poor logic. The trap everyone seems to fall into is the tribalism of denomination. Funny, when I tried to write that word, demonization, almost came out. Maybe there is something to that. Divisiveness within the Church is a cancer. People see us arguing over some of these things and are turned off. What are we showing the world? Bethel, Hillsong, Elevation, and many other individual singer/songwriters write beautiful Spiritual and Biblical music. If the songs contradict God's word then we must reject the song. The problem is that it seems we want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I believe God is moving and using willing servants. Unfortunately all fall short. We all have a sin nature. Thank God for grace and mercy because, as seen here, man is less likely to extend those things. Use discernment and as I have done and make sure the church you attend adheres to scripture and not worldly, views.

For those seeking perfection on this earth, don't waste your time. The LORD is the way.

Yes this music once I realized what was going on, I went through my Christian playlists and wouldn't you know it half the songs where Hillsing Bethesda and more. Get rid of it now. You want some real good Christian music? Listen to the Marshall family!

It’s incredibly sad as a new Christian to see the judgement and division between “Christians”. It’s why I avoided Christianity like the plague for most of my life and why many people will never find their way to God and aren’t saved by Jesus. If “Christians” truly behaved like Christ - it shouldn’t be as difficult as it is. I see a lot of jealousy, bitterness and resentment amongst churches and “true people of God”. Everyone professes to be right, pure, better than others because they have “discernment” - the list goes on and on and on. This is what the devil wants and on the daily I see “Christians” giving in to exactly what the evil one wants. From my personal experience I know many will not be saved due to how judgemental “Christians” are and it breaks my heart ❤️ I pray and pray to learn, be humble, and hope to be guided in the right direction always by God and His Word. Because sadly as a new Christian trying to learn and find your way online and find “community” is just not it. As Christians and true followers or Christ we should DO BETTER!!!

Justin Peters is the true wolf , He turns more people from Christ than he brings, he needs to reset his sights on bringing people to Christ rather than focusing so much on if others are preaching the “right”type of Christianity and he exudes a spirit of envy and jealousy when he talks about other preachers. I am not saying he is totally wrong in what he says. But I can tell you that these songs and churches bring many in and then many are lead astray with false teaching but just as many use their God given discernment to sort through the mess and move on to deeper more true teachers/preachers and doctrine. And the ones who don’t move on or see through were never going to find their way to Christ to begin with. He is too dug in and stubborn to ever even begin to consider this though.

God is using this music to draw thousands of people to Christ. These churches are not false. Churches get your facts right. This generation can't continue to sing hyms. Concentrate on what God has called you to leave these ministries alone . Let along God be judged.

I think the songs we listen to only help us to move out of the flesh into the spirit. When it comes to true worship, God is not blessed by any song played on a device, he's blessed by a heart that worships in the spirit. Anyways, everyone can have their own opinions but only the word of Jesus have life.

It's really all about Am think when I'm listening these songs,... But on my side, I usually just take the lecon in every thing,...
But I know everyone doesn't have same intimity with God as mine, or else someone other than other too...
People, We need to be born again in Jesus Christ, and receive the Holy Spirit in our soul...

Calling out the blatantly unbiblical, heretical beliefs and actions of Hillsong and Bethel does not negate the fact that these two promote Greek mythology, paganism, and Calvanism, among other false teachings. The words of men are no replacement for Scripture! Hearing them cast stones is bizarre, to say the least!

Sing Lutheran hymns. They're the best hymns ever written and ever sung.

Churches divides itself, instead of uniting they would continue to destroy and attack each other. Instead of preaching the words of God, they would focus their sights onto the actions of another.

Only the real Church will last to the very end, it is the Church that focuses on their relation to God and God alone, a church that even in the midst of chaos, knows the truth and trusts God's actions and doesn't meddle with the actions of others and the events of the world instead would pray for peace to come and truth to reign. That Church must be us, we should focus only to God,Christ, and the guidance of the Spirit. We must pray for others but avoid acting like we know what's best, only the Lord can change the hearts of sinners whether they're lost in their paths or just wolves in sheep's clothing.

I’m very suspect of my emotions! I’m a fallen man! Even though saved, I still retain The Old Adam! I simply must lean on The Word Of God! Nothing else! Certainly not heretics who preach false doctrine! Feelings are the central problem with these false churches! Doctrine matters!

No matter the motive of Hillsong and Bethel in making their music, I know their music points many to Christ. May we, as Christians, stop these unnecessary conferences and spend more time, instead, teaching the word of God.
