I was having really bad heart arrythmias and some were audible and painful after jogging.
Eveytime i went to the hospital i realized my potassium was low normal. Drs said it was fine. Not 4 me. Nurses would say they see symptomatic people in the 3s all the time. Drs would brush me off. I was in the 3.8, 3.6, 3.2. The lower the worse my palps. Id get pale and instant fatigue. Usually about 2hrs later. I would also have BAD recovery time for my heart rate. It would stay above a 100 laying down and spike to 130 when i get and walk around for hours!!!! One time i finshed running at 7pm and it didnt go down till 2-3 in the a.m.!😢
As long as i dont push myself and MAKE SURE I EAT MY BANANAS daily i seem fine. Oh yeah and i was drinking RO water which furter depleted my minerals and vitamins! Filtered and one a day vitamin is really restoring my health.
Hey Dr can comsider CARDIAC BRIDGES OF THE ARTERIES i have a deep complete bridge of the LAD. I know you like working on stuff not talked about but exist aNd think youll like that one.
Only a handfull of cardiologist take it serious and large amount of society have them.
Thx 4 all u do

45 is bradycardia a serious condition! 50 is baseline minimum. Athletes need good blood flow to provide oxygen to muscles. It’s a balance and rates in the 60 s are a good balance.

At the age of 75 my BPM is anywhere from 40 to 50 and has been that for the last 15 yr's. As a #2 diabetic for the last 30 yr's I'm sure my regiment of diet and exercise has been the biggest factor. Two mile hike in the woods with my dog 365 days a year and keeping to a heart smart diet and I'll be good to go unless I get thrown under a bus :)

Thank you for informing us that this is important to pay attention to. I love salt so my heart rate is higher than it should be , but I am going to fix that now by adding potassium and b1. My husband who doesn't add as much salt and who has a resting heart rate of 40, drinks water and pees all day long but is always cold, teases me that he is definitely going to die last. I need potassium, d3 + k2, and probably several other things. I must have a B1 deficiency based on all the signs on those other videos too.
Question why don't I have thirst...oh I am sure you have several videos on that.
I think my husband pees all day because he need mineral in the celtic salt but he wouldn't want to raise his heart rate LOL!

I’m 78 and exercise with weights and cardio , lots of hiking . Problem is I’ve got afib due to leaky heart valves . I have a 45 + ejection fraction so Im not a candidate for a valve replacement yet and it has been the same for at least 15 years. My average resting is around 68-73 , before the afib it was in the 40’s . Not sure what I can do but maybe lower my carb intake even though there heathy carbs if there is such a thing 🤔

Not in my case. I exercised a lot (bicycle racing which entailed 15 hours and 350 kms a week) and had a resting heart rate in the evening of 48 bpm. I went to the doctor one day because of acute breathlessnesses to learn I had blocked coronary arteries which required bypass surgery. Testing revealed I had Hypercholesterolemia (genetic high cholesterol). What you have suggested about the correlation of life expectancy and resting pulse rate is very flakey at best.

My heart beat has always been low. It did worry me as I wasn't that fit. As a kid I was a good athlete but put on weight in my 20's but got a hand on that mostly now. But doesn't matter what my fitness levels are, my heart rate remained roughly the same. I've seen it below 40 but generally its around 50 and during sleep can drop to 44. But there is no heart disease history in my family. So its nice to know that my chances of premature death is lower because of my slow heartbeat.

Have had a tachy problem for over 10 years. Taking Metoprolol to help but it's doing a poor job these last few years. I have frequent PVCs and SVTs which make it more aggravating and sometimes a bit frightening. Recently began having intermittent blood pressure issues which make it hard to treat. Oddly enough none of my Cardiologists seem to know what's causing any of it. I'm 5'10 and keep my weight below 180 from diet alone. I've recently decided to begin D-Ribose because I also suffer from Chronic Fatigue.

Last year, at the peak of my fitness once in the morning I found that my Apple Watch sent me a warning that my heart rate went down to a low of 38 / min at night. That absolutely scared me and I thought I should take it easy on the fitness thingie..
Otherwise it’s 60-64/ min resting… ❤
