I know Pep is a wonderful tactician but he’s just been at the right clubs at the right time. I doubt he could recreate any of his results with any team that doesn’t have billions to spend

Love tifos videos and analisis. One big correction though. JJ says: "Guardiola now has only defenders and attackers. That is definitivley an overstatement. Rodri, B. Silva, De Bruyne, Gundogan are midfielders. Stones has arguably converted into a Mid and the same can be said for Grealish So, midfielders are still pretty much Pep's thing.

i feel like i’ll be a good coach i always reconsigned this as a kid. i was scrawny as a kid and really short so i had to heavily rely on the mental game aspect

Liverpool were already well clear by the time the pandemic happened. It was already won. They were on course to break records before the lockdown started.

Much respect he’s a great manager but he’s still overrated. He had arguably the greatest squad ever assembled in Barca, managed at the only club that wins/has money in Germany, and joined a club in England that has unlimited funds. Can he do this at a club like Dortmund, Liverpool or a club like AC Milan. He only joins rich clubs

Fantastic video. Messi scored 91 in the calendar year of 2012 though.

Just because of that rotation of players chart at the end I thought Declan Rice would be a great fit for Man City... People keep saying he wouldn't be a starter. Most players are not a traditional starter in Pep's team, but they win almost everything, every time.

How can you say he is playing with a team of attacker and defenders, when he has rodri, gundo, and de bryuen on the field. All great MIDFIELDERS. He has a few players out of position like Ake or Akanji playing LB or stones playing CDM/CM but the rest of the players are in their natural positions.

Pepe does what I do on FIFA career mode. I always have two teams, a first and a second, and I swap each team every game, so we have optimal fitness (better performance), and players stay happy. My philosophy is If you're in the team, you're gonna play. I'm not gonna say he got this from me...

He will win the epl until he resigns. Epl teams do not know how to keep the ball. Just running and focused on scoring.

At the biggest club, most money and get the best team in the league to begin with is majority of the success. I would love to see him do a klopp at a Dortmund type team.

The bottomless pit of money that Abu Dhabi Fc have and the corrupt governors in the game which allow City to sportswash like they do is also kind of important too😂

The way man city is now is so different to what I’m used to. There’s so much more defensive solidity with have a 3-2 shape than a 2-3. The rotations that Pep can make with his players are so interesting.

Pep has clean slate with City. He built this team bottom up and they haven’t peaked yet. Staying the longest at city is indicator he want to build legacy. I honestly believe he will play an evolved version of total football with way tactics change in between game. The focus on defensive ball playing profile centre back will make it easy to rotate positions and if defensive is solid in their game the attack will be more potent. If the 30min of second leg of Real Madrid is anything to go buy it flashes of what is to come.

Phil Foden under Pep is one of potential to become best player of England. To say Foden will be heir to David Silva position show just highly he views him. This also includes Stones as well for years he saw potential to play as Liberio role.

Something not mentioned is the academy at City. All youth division at Man City all play like first team. Positional play is taught and Premier league team won three titles in row but guess what this was EXACTLY the same with 3 youth team below all doing 3 peat in bounce. Rico Lewis has be able to adapt when promoted to first team because culture is the same down to grass roots.

The vibes is La Masia 2.0 exists and with CGG model City are gearing up to dominate. This has been in the making 10 years since academy was rebuilt across the stadium.
