I always have the unexplainable intuition that Poe was British...
ОтветитьGreat graphics.
ОтветитьThere are 1.) True Originals
2.) Mere Imitators
3.) And those not sharpened enough to know the difference.
Poe is the only man who can rock the short mustache and not be confused with certain Austrian nutcase

ОтветитьEvery we see is a dream within a dream
ОтветитьEdgar Allen Poe and Vincent Price are are timeless and perfectioness
ОтветитьOne interesting example of how Poe used every word to create the unity of effect can be found in the very title of “The Tell-Tale Heart.” The stress and rhythm of the phrase, “tell-tale,” is similar to a heartbeat.
ОтветитьIt’s beautifully animated, who’s the artist
ОтветитьEdgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allen Poe when he finds another way to stuff a dead body in the walls
ОтветитьAll so true... he himself...
Apparently with maybe emotional, Health problems in his short life.
And understand there was such limited Medical care, and Diagnosis!!...
A Genius I believe, but an elongated life he would have had!!...
A lot of mental , physical sickness in that Era...
Shortened life, so much more to give.. I read, enjoy, and read !!!
His grave is so small and underappreciated too. I visited when in Baltimore, I'm from the UK, and I expected a shrine but then again maybe Poe would have hated that. Still a privilege to have been there. Go Poe!
Ответитьhe was a martyr died showing the horrors of this world.
ОтветитьThank you ted ed. ❤
ОтветитьAnd when asked about my wife,
And mother, whom both lost their lives,
At the age of 24,
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."
“There is no secret ingredient” -Po
ОтветитьI think you all should cover Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at some point. The original novella is very underrated.
ОтветитьWhat is the music used in this video?
ОтветитьYou should avoid his books.
ОтветитьMy favorite author🖤
ОтветитьI think it is pretty odd, but good that E. A. Poe should be making a comeback now. I used to teach his works to middle school-students years ago. Then most schools took his work out of the English curriculum. They need to put it back in because no contemporary authors can write like Poe, and kids need to see what exceptional writing looks like.
ОтветитьEdgar Allen Poe is a freaking creep
Ответить"Truth is not in a well. In fact, as regards the more important knowledge, I do believe that she is invariably superficial."
-Edgar Allan Poe in "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" (1841)
The music is so pretty! What is it?
