Take the 800 vs 9010.. 41 Newton's versus 47 Newtons. If 9010 finishes an hour long job 3 minutes faster than the 800. In 620 hrs it's finished 1,860 minutes faster or 31 hrs faster for the year. So if I bill out at 70$ per man hour I just made 2,170$ more in the same 620 period than the 800. $2170 - $623 (fuel cost difference) = 1547$ more profit in 620 hrs. Multiply that out by 5 9010s for the crew and that 7,735$ per year more revenue. We use BR600's for everyday use but the 90/80-10's come out in the Spring/Fall cleanups here in Michigan..
ОтветитьIt is clear that you are a Stihl fan. It looks like you are forgetting the most important thing: the durability. If you are doing an objective comparison you must show the strengths and weaknesses of each model. But with the Stihl you show the weight, the petrol consume but you avoid to say that it is a 2-stroke engine with valves. Some people love it but some no. In my experience it has more issues and it is more difficult to fix it than the others.
Ответитьecho offers a 5 year warranty- that is the winner a company willing tio stand behind the profuct
ОтветитьFor me the most important thing is do I have a dealer nearby that can service my gear. That's the brand I'll get. The top models are all good. I got a Stihl simply because that's what my closest dealer sold and what my buddies have so we can swap parts if we need. I'm just a homeowner so my experience is different.
Ответить21 years in this game. Pound for pound our firm moves more leaves and cuts more grass than any other. I have decades of experience with all of these blowers. Here are a few things that I know. Husqvarna and red max are the exact same blower just different color. Redundant test there. The most nimble blower is the Stihl. Most powerful blower is the Echo. The best all around blower is the Red Max. Pound for pound the Stihl is best. If you have young and strong team members the Echo is the best. Some of our older staff members prefer the Stihl or the mid model Echos. The best blower for you and your team is different based on your physical makeup as well as that of your team. Good luck.
ОтветитьThe echo and the Stihl are so clumsy to put away and take on and off, feels like so much shit is hanging off them snags on everything. They’re great once the unit is on your back, but after 30 lawns it sucks. Redmaxx for the grass, echo for the leaves.
ОтветитьThe battery test was invalid. Your success rate depended more on the ability of the operator to maintain force on the long side of the battery than of the applied force. It 's like comparing a boat with a large sail against a boat with a small sail. That would have been the most interesting test result, as I would be concerned with how the blowers move leaves. A better test might have been to fill two five gallon buckets with sand. Of course, the nozzle shape might have a greater effect than the force of the air exiting the nozzle. But the battery is definitely the worst test.
ОтветитьJust think of all the time you guys would save if you bought a Scag Windstorm. Save so much time and gas and employee cost you'll never have to watch another blower comparison video either. 😂
ОтветитьI will use the PB 9010 over the Stihl BR 800. It gets the job done twice as fast over the br800.
ОтветитьI own both and the echo 9010 is by far the the biggest baddest blower on the market 11/2023
ОтветитьStihl is built better. The others have exposed parts that can hook up or be knocked. Stihl every time for me. I hav3 the 800 with the hip pull start. A great addition.
Ответитьsorry but battery test is stupid and not accurate at all.
ОтветитьI saw a major difference in tube design. Stihl has a tube design different.
It his tube is chocked downs . Its make a difference
Really great comparison video guys, I sure learnt a lot and was surprised by the battery test results. Looks as if you can’t beat the Germans, the best fuel economy and the winner of the battery test.
ОтветитьECHO!
ОтветитьNice video but not scientific. I’d bet that he is a Stihl dealer, and not an Echo dealer. I work on a crew. Every time our br800 runs into a pinch and can’t move a pile, they pull me and my PB9010 to get it done. It’s clear to our crew that the 9010 is supreme. When I put on the br800, it feels and performs like a junior model, a step down.
ОтветитьRedMax all day long
ОтветитьI own both the Echo 9010 and the Stihl 800C, the Echo blows the Stihl away!!
ОтветитьThis is the most entertaining comparison video I have seen. Really great job! I was leaning towards the Husqvarna, but thinking about the Stihl now. Heard too many comments about the noise level of the Echo to consider.
ОтветитьYeah of course the still wins from the guy who sells only still no I don't think so
Ответитьbest one 910 shindawa
ОтветитьGreat video. One thing to note, the same person dominated the battery competition. Operator skill is too big a factor in that test.
ОтветитьThat 800 is so powerful, it’ll set you back on your heel’s.
ОтветитьThank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to make a great video. I was at Lowes today and looked at the Husqvarna 570 BTS and it was $70.00 off. I need a stronger blower for my property. I would like to see a video comparing some chainsaws. Thank you again for your videos.
ОтветитьMaybe you should also switch sides for the echo and Redmax.
I’ve heard a lot of great things about both echo and redmax and surprised of the results in this video
This dude obviously wanted stihl to win
ОтветитьMy stihl weed eater is ..ugh..an unreliable pos I’d never buy again.. my echo stick edger is 20 years old and all I do is replace the spark plug every 10 years.. both running the same fuel and oil mixed 50:1.. think I’d go for the echo and carry a little more weight and use a little more fuel.. Just my opinion of course..also two dudes blowing a battery across the floor is the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen and proved absolutely nothing
ОтветитьDoesn't the size of the opening at the end of the tube affect the amount of force exiting? Wider opening gives greater width distribution of force but less power at any given point. I have the Zenoah, the Japan distribution of Redmax. I love the hip control. It has been great, especially after putting in chest and hip straps for better stability on my back.
ОтветитьGreat video. How bout a STIHL BR350 vs HUSQVARNA 150BT?
ОтветитьI think a lot of these force tests are really just based on that carburateur tuning and fan rpm at full throttle.
ОтветитьA sthil dealer that says he's making an objective test. What a load of bullcrap! There are so many other aspects of a blower that needs to be taken in consideration when choosing. These are all excellent products, your choice comes to personal preferences, proximity of parts and service.
ОтветитьThe better blower and cheaper, more durable BR700
ОтветитьThe echo doesn’t blow our chicken houses out as well as the sthil but the sthil is more concentrated I think and less fumes. Can’t go wrong with either way
ОтветитьThe echo cheats like Ford with that Venturi port on the end of the tube it sucks the air surrounding the end of the tube but it also creates a diffusing effect it increases the amount of air at the tip but it is all scattered about and not a good straight stream. Ford does this to pass emissions if you look at the tip on a Forsyth exhaust there is a section about 8 to 10 inches back where there are these slits they are designed to suck in fresh air. But when your blowing leaves an grass that diffuse air isn’t really a negative
ОтветитьNice job ! Appreciate you taking the time to do this.
ОтветитьI love the 800 x use it every day it's really strong and light for its power and size shit it will blow about 40 50 foot infront you just about lol
ОтветитьBattery test is BS.!
ОтветитьCongrats STIHL !
ОтветитьVery very disagree but whatever it’s your video
ОтветитьBecause all lawncare companies are pushing batteries in yards...... this isn't the way to test equipment head to head. It's like taking a skidsteer with fork lifts to pick up dirt......
ОтветитьSo happy you made the comparison charts. First weigh in I looked to grab a pen and pad for notes then didn’t even need it
ОтветитьRule #1. Never run a 2 stroke out of fuel 🤦
ОтветитьWow! Really interesting.
ОтветитьThe sales guy demonstrated the raw power of the 8010 by pushing a brick across the shop parking lot. "Sold" I said. However, I never counted on the thing constantly trying to spin me clockwise...it's got so much grunt that I really have to work to keep it under control. 6ft 225lb male, so I'm no small fry. For outright raw power...the Echo has it.
ОтветитьLove this video great job
ОтветитьShould of swapped blowers from the beginning don't you think
Ответитьgood info. thanks!
ОтветитьThe Stihl looks like it has a tapered end. That would make a big difference in the battery test, as the air would be directed into a smaller, more powerful area.
ОтветитьWould love to see the difference in leaves as that’s my #1 use case. Interesting info here I liked it.
