iPhone 14 Pro | Cinematic Short Film | 4K ProRes Footage

ProRes looks great, but it is basically unusable for us normal folks. Question: Why can't the iPhone record in ProRes, do the grading automatically and save the video as a normal sized file?

Do I have an iPhone 12, but is it possible to achieve the same or similar kind of shots through Filmic Pro? Do I need to upgrade to iPhone 14 Pro?

If old enough, we all used a phone to make phone calls.
Even though i sold phones for Verizon. I used a flip phone as long as i could.
Loved the size and simplicity.
Never texted or used it to go on the web. That's what my computer was for. I had a camera to take pictures.

ALL NEW PHONES AND BATTERIES TEND TO LAST FOR 2 DAYS AT FIRST.
OVER TIME AS YOUR PHONE'S MEMORY STARTS TO FILL UP WITH APPS AND JUNK FROM THE WEB, COMBINED WITH THE PHONE'S AGE AND THE BATTERY AGE IT'S ANOTHER STORY. IN 6 MONTHS, 12 MONTHS, 18 MONTHS AND SO ON. PROGRESSIVELY WORSE. THEN IT'S ALWAYS NEW PHONE TIME LIKE IT OR NOT.

taking cinemati shorts does make a phone good, iphone is still sh*t with same design and features

its really impresive how far we came in phone camera tech. iphones can film almost cinema quality videos, samsung phones can get real detailed photos, etc.

Just starting out and watching videos for ideas and inspiration. This is brilliant and shows what can be achieved with a smartphone. A real high standard to aim for. Thanks for sharing.
