ETERNALS: Ego Was Created to Defeat Galactus | Marvel Theory Explained

How was Ego created to defeat Galactus when, in the original storyline that depicted Celestials using planets to procreate, Galactus is depicted as a being designed to stop the Celestials from doing so? Galactus is also a being from the previous universe, Celestials are products of the current universe. In the Earth X timeline, which the Eternals is based on, Galactus defeats an entire Celestial host alone. Galactus is also revealed to actually be Franklin Richards, created (for all eternity) AFTER Reed Richards killed Galactus (try and wrap your head around that one) and the universe needed a defense against the Celestials. In other words, Galactus does NOT feed on a planet's energy, he feeds on the 'sleeping' Celestial which robs a planet of it's energy. He does so to stop the Celestials. The Celestials are powerless to stop him. The problem with the MCU Ego is that they made him a Celestial. Ego is, traditionally, just a 'living planet' and not a Celestial.

Makes more sense that ego was a bio weapon made to weaken galactus

I always thought that Ego was the same as all the other Celestials. That they all look like Ego under the armor. For some reason he was ripped out of his armor and exiled or left for dead. Maybe for they exiled him for trying to come up with a new way to reproduce.

isn't Ego just a uni-mind ? (Eternals - 1h 34min) the Eternals are planing to put there powers together to form a uni-mind, looking like a big brain just like Ego's real appearance. Ego just never met a other celestial, so he thinks he must be one of them. (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 - 44min)

In Marvel cannon when I was a kid I read the fantastic Four comics. Galactus originally was here before our universe was created. he was the only survivor of the previous universe and needed to feed on our universe to survive. I don't know if He has been retconned since then because I don't read comics any longer.

so the big bang is a result of the previous universe becoming unstable and collapsing in on itself. Causing the next "big bang"

I think something was/is killing celestials and somehow didn't make sure this brain was dead. Don't forget Nowhere, the celestial head that was being mined. Something had to decapitate that one. Also, it looked pretty organic so I don't know about celestials being metal and not being able to impregnate other species, I think it is just beneath them to do so. I don't think it was Galactus killing them either, he needs them to keep putting seeds in planets for sustenance, it'd be like me killing my chickens and not eating them or the eggs they could've made me. Unless Galactus was just defending himself, which would explain why Ego was left alive so... It could be as simple as the Celestials attacked Galactus, G defends himself, Ego's brain survived, had amnesia, went with his base instincts to breed and multiply, and somehow found out along the way he's a celestial. You still have G and the C's in their eternal battle which can make plenty of movies.
