I love it when you imitate idiots who are self-righteous gods of wisdom! lol
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьBare in mind that cheapest capture card have a huge delay. If you playing games. You will feel how bad it is.
Ответитьdamn, i really miss old school mmo which is no vip, power, gachas or what so ever, only in game mall item
ОтветитьWoooow, one of the best videos I saw so far about capture card comparison
ОтветитьYou need 60 frames for streaming games... not video. Video is best at 24 frames.
ОтветитьFor starting out use a web cam
Ответитьlmao why tf the 120$ capture card was sooooo noisy...
ОтветитьHey man, Just wanted to pop in and let you know Amazon link in description is dead. I bought two from the updated video review :)
ОтветитьThe unbranded $15 card overheated and stopped working in 30 minutes.
ОтветитьWhat kind of lightning did you use here?
ОтветитьSo I have an issue. If I want to game on my TV and broadcast my gameplay to a laptop/computer (so I can add layovers, pop ups and such) how do I go by doing so? The input looks like a USB port while the back is the HDMI output which the HDMI chord does come with. I play on a PS4, so do I plug it in any socket and run it to a laptop? Or do I need some form of splitter to run it all. Sorry if this is confusing
ОтветитьDoes anybody know if you can use more of these simultaneously in OBS or is only one the limit?
ОтветитьGot a similar cam link for 15,99 Euros (DIGITNOW HD Video Capture, resolution is up to 1080p at 30 fps max.). Works well here, too, with a Nikon D7200. You're right, you really do not need to spend more money for a capture card.
ОтветитьThere is brown/coffee colored 1080p@60 version of that generic capture card on aliexpress.
Accepts 4k@60 and even custom reolutions like 3440x1440 ultrawide.
The output stream will be 1080p, but you can scale it to 21:9 in OBS.
I am trying to appreciate why there should be any difference between the various cards and capture methods. Why? The information is already digital, generated as digital information, right from the camera sensor, and by the D/A audio converter in the camera. Tnen this is converted to either an HDMI output and/or saved to a file on the camera.
All the HDMI to USB Capture card has to do is convert from a digital format, to maybe another. How difficult can that be? Should it not be possible to simply capture the digital audio/video input from the camera - via HDMI, without any quality loss. i.e even being able to save the output to the computer in the highest quality RAW format ?
Or is the loss of quality a function of the kind of format used by HDMI to USB capture cards, to provide a feed to apps such as OBS, and the loss in quality is a function of either the card, or the software used to capture the video/audio on the computer.
Theoretically, there should not be any difference in quality between the information captured on an SD card in the camera, and the information captured via software on the computer. In theory.. But in this case, something is going on and there is a difference in the image/audio quality between the stream captured via HDMI and that captured directly on the camera, and I hope someone can be kind enough to explain why this is the case.
My corollary is this, if I capture video/audio using a high end recording device like an Atomos Ninja, I would not expect any degrade in video quality (except for any degrade based on compression if I choose to use compression in the recording format), so why shouldn't a video capture card be capable of non destructively capturing the audio+video stream coming from the camera?
omg when you gott o he 3rd one and my ears were begging to stop, holyyy
ОтветитьDoes it works on redmik20 pro
ОтветитьMine lasted 3 days and stopped working, sending mine back to Amazon
ОтветитьWould they work with usb mics?
ОтветитьHi sir is there is any lag
ОтветитьThe unbranded capture card doesn't record Stereo sound, It only outputs Mono audio and that really made me upset, bit I didn't lost hope for that so I had to use my aux cord to extract the stereo audio as a simple solution I could think of
Ответитьwell I got a Nintendo switch, so don't need 60fps or 4k just one to live stream at the least
ОтветитьPicked one of these up from Ebay in the UK for the grand total of £5.99 with free shipping (less than $8). I was curious about it's capabilities and after some testing I found these devices ignore HDCP signals, I was able to record from BluRay and a Roku onto my laptop in testing. There's also a version which has an HDMI loopthrough which might be more suitable for game capture as this version has some major lag issues.
Ответитьpro tip: When recording at 24fps, make sure your shutter speed is set to 48 or 50. The natural motion blur keeps the lesser 24fps from looking choppy. General rule of thumb: For video, your shutter speed should be double your framerate.
ОтветитьHi there,
Very strange question but I try.
Are you Chris Watts' brother? you look very much like him.
I just got one for $23... not as feature rich as a $130 Avermedia or camlink, but those are hard to find, these cheap ones are filling the void. Great video. What size lens did you use on the close up shots?
ОтветитьSo I connect this to a streaming PC and then get an HDMI from the GPU of my main PC to the capture card and then use ANOTHER port from my GPU for my monitor will it all work fine? Also will the sound work from the capture card? Am looking into this as a cheapo solution for dual PC streaming. Thanks!
ОтветитьWell u had bad settings :P
ОтветитьAGPTEK has a better skin tone and detail, although it tanked in other departments, not sure why. El cheapo is fine for its price
ОтветитьI tried a generic USB capture adapter that looked just like your generic capture card listed above. I spent about six hours trying to get it to work with no success. Windows 10 installed it automatically but none of the four programs I tried could access it including OBS which didn't even see it. Only 1 of the four programs could see it and that one told me I wasn't authorized to access it. I returned it. I would try again if you have any suggestions as to why it didn't work.
ОтветитьCan i use this for my mobile device with the cheapest one?
ОтветитьI have been looking through so many videos to see if this capture card records audio from the HDMI source, thank you for memtioning that!
ОтветитьThis thing is an absolute cheat code. Managed to get a looped version of it aswell, which should be good for gaming .
ОтветитьHas anyone managed to use 2 or more of these or other cheap generic capture device simultaneously and working? I have 2 and can't make it work at the same. Only one will display my camera, and when I add the other it's just blank. TIA
Ответитьis the first one possible to use for a switch? like can it work with streamlabs and stream games from the nintendo switch to the computer/twitch
ОтветитьHave you used this pen to capture video from any other device like bluray player or gaming console?
ОтветитьReally useful video. I was about to go buy a Brio at the bloated prices because I need to do more videoconferencing due to covid lockdown where I am. This just saved me some cash while improving my quality.
ОтветитьWell my main problem with these capture cards are the color reproduction, I have seen many of these having really bad color, for camera, fine you might be able to get around with that, but for capturing windows stuff, I am better of using OBS, also HDCP, idk of any on them has that.
Ответитьwhich capture card (at a small budget) do you suggest I buy to capture PS2/PS3 gameplay ?
ОтветитьWhat is the maximum length hdmi cable for dslr livestreaming? The cheapest one (hdmi capture card)
ОтветитьMy worry is reliability, sometimes cheaper means less inferior components. Now anyone who does this professionally wouldn't bother with el cheapo, but for the majority of us tinkering with such things, we need to make what little money we have spare go further. I purchased two of the HDMI capture USB sticks and was rather pleased with the result. It would be great to know if these units have longevity and won't burn out half way through an important stream. I suppose the answer really is to belt and brace and have set in place contingencies for such an event. Great comparisons on what one might expect. I should also mention that the latency on the cheaper card was very low, considering it's Usb 2.0 the response was fantastic with virtually no lag.
ОтветитьThis a bit off topic, but who was the lucky winner of the webcam you reviewed a month ago?
Ответитьjust as a warning to anyone planning on buying a budget card, do not buy any capture cards that have the same model as the red agptek one, they all come from the same factory, and preform like dogshit
Ответитьi need thisss
ОтветитьAGPtek is sh*t that was pretty bad.
