can i just say that Oscar Isaac’s accent was spot on and this is the first non-British produced show I’ve ever seen to correctly use British slang and it doesn’t feel forced. I think they did a really fab job with the writing on this show and Oscar Isaac just pulls it off perfectly

can we all appreciate how brave Steven ends up being? this guy was scared of the terrifying situation he's in for like five minutes and then immediately moved on to constantly diss both Marc and a literal God.
plus, the first thing he does as soon as he (kind of) understands who Marc is is trying to get himself institutionalized so he doesn't hurt anyone else, he only accepts to surrender the body (not knowing when he would get back) when he realizes people are gonna get hurt if he doesn't, he stands up to Harrow as soon as he realizes how sketchy he is and never gives up Layla's name.
I really feel like he's the only one who's truly not scared of Konshu

like I know Steven is a n absolute cinnamon roll, but let's also give this man some praise for how fucking brave he is

I like the part where when Arthur was talking about how Ammit was betrayed by her avatar, Steven asked him whether he was referring to the 2009 James Cameron movie, or the Nickelodeon series, Avatar: The Last Airbender (which he describes as an ‘anime’).

As much as I love this show the first episode gives me anxiety. The fact he has no clue whats going on scares the shit out of me personally.

I just realized we never go to know who asked out that lady from the museum, we know it wasn't Steven Grant (because he doesn't remember asking), It wouldn't have been Marc specter (because he loves Layla), and it wasn't Jake Lockley (because he speaks Spanish).
