Please make a video, how to install official global rom from custom rom in redmi 5/plus. Need this badly as the official global rom has launched and at the time of buying of my redmi 5 there was custom global rom installed

I can confirm this method works even with the locked bootloader and the current versions of Global ROM. The only issue I have found after quick test is there is only China available in the Region settings.

Doesn't work for me. I'm on the China ROM 8.5 Stable and I can't even install China Developer ROM, which is the first step in your tutorial. I'm getting "Can't verify update. You're allow to flash the newest develop version published by MIUI forum from stable version only", whatever it means. What should I do?

do global rom's get otas like the Chinese ones? I read an answer from an banggood seller that said it was global Rom but no Ota does this mean everytime an update arrives I need to boot into zips?

bro i went thru this entire procedure but when i get to the point i have to choose the global rom file to run in mi pc suite instead of the percentage bar coming up as it says ...mine just brings up a prompt msg in chinese....so i dnt understand where im wrong....can yu pls help me out
