Haha!
It's very ironic that Kostya went abroad to become an Aussie and failed. But when he took his teenage kids to Moscow they were crying and wanted to go back HOME. To Australia...

Tim Tszyu has a lot of the qualities of his dad, Kostya Tszyu. Tim is making a name for himself.

Well he sure doesn't have Kostya's legs! Those are oak trees! and that's where a lot of his power came from.

Tim is a very intelligent person.he loves his father to be around for psychological support.but at the same time he has reasons to say no for such things as to give rise to his ultimate goal and that is to fend-off what is called distractions and invariables that is an impediment to his goal achieving target.cheers...m

I was nowhere near Tim's level...but the thought of me old man there wdve made me nervous.

My dad's first bout, my grandad was in his corner (panicking acc to the old man!).
So dad never turned up..cos he knew what it felt like!!

I wish Tim all success, he's only 21 fights in & improving every fight... (oh & Nik as well!)...
Great interview!!

I think Tim just knows it might be hard to climb out of his dads shadow so the best way to do it is if he walked the road alone. Even his dad said he doesn’t want to get involved in his training to much because he wants Tim to establish himself. Like Tim said it’s different when your father is in your corner and it’s not any father it’s the legend Kostya himself but yes it would be hard because Kostya made it big so he would naturally want to push his son to do good if not better

This makes me get emotional. I too am a father and have a 12year old daughter who skateboards along with my 16 year old son and they shred. I used to skate pretty high level and it scares me to death knowing there's severe consequences if you aren't careful

Tim doesn’t know it yet, but he’ll miss his Dad one day & regret not having him at his fights. All because his father was trying to be a supportive dad. But oh well, each to their own

What a great video. “Dad” “Haven’t seen you in four years!” Lmao. This is true Aussie culture in this kid. Both Tim and Nik are Newington boys, fantastic school (and expensive lol) I myself and the boys up the road at Fort st high school would fight the Newington boys all the time, but they weren’t boxers back then, they were good at footy. I think Tim is fantastic. Smart, funny and farking tough just like his Dad.

I loved watching Kostya Tszyu fight, I had no idea he left his family! I can totally relate b/c my father walked out of my life when I was a kid! You can forgive a lot of things but that’s one thing that takes yrs to get over! I wonder if Tim Tszyu was a decent baseball player would Kostya make his way to connect with him? I highly doubt it!! I applaud Tim for making his way in Boxing on his own! I’m sure his last name had something to do with his rise in Boxing but his attitude isn’t I’m my fathers son!! Kudos to Tim Tszyu for being his own man! I hope he rides that horse until the leg’s fall off!!

I remember Tim when he was a little munchkin, they used to come have dinner at a restaurant i worked at in student days. He was a naughty little bugger running around everywhere, hanging out under the table. It’s great to see him grow up into a great young man. He’s a chip off the old block for sure
