Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 iz the Beast, I'm Waiting S12 to the Future.

The second you complaint about spen I knew you were full of shete!! Don't even mention the fact that you don't have to charge your spen, it's for extra functions such as taking photo, etc...

If ipad had SD card slot.... It wud be a called 'feature'

Never owned an apple product but I want an iPad 10th gen because of a few reasons, battery life, 4:3 aspect ratio, smoothness and because the price has come down a lot I will use it in work to watch videos and nothing more the only app I'll need is just a browser.

And any android tablet has way more functionality than apple's but I'll be good with the bare basics

so as a long time ipad user and someone that switched to the galaxy tab a few years ago my stance is that they are both pretty good. Only thing i really miss from the ipad are the 3 finger gestures that would let me switch app or go to home. While everyone talks about the ipad having more power user apps it never really applied to me since my tablet was just a recreational device, in fact the galaxy has much better manga reading apps (my main use of tablets)

anyone objective would take the galaxy 8 over ipad air it has so many advantages better screen it has dex it has a free s=pen also 120 adaptive refresh rate more memory and a memory card slot.. s8 also has 4 actual speakers and not the 2 on the air..

Does is support dolby vision + atmos + 4k hdr on netflix?

The display is wonderful? This is a TFT display on an expensive tablet and it's more expensive than an iPad Air with M1 chipset.

For most people these are out and out content consumption devices. With that in mind, the s8 and even the newer s9 series have the SD card slot. This is a must.

Expanding to 512 gigs is very cheap.

This is a garbage review. I stopped watching when you said the speakers on the ipad were better. Let's see: quad speakers(two on each side) vs dual speakers. Hmmmm, obviously the dual speakers are better...not

Honestly the micro SD card slot alone should turn way more people to apple than it does. My 128gb on iPad fills up in 30 minutes these days. $30 I get high speed storage that you can’t even tell the difference between internal.. want an extra 250gb on iPad? No worries that’s only $300 more.

They both have their pros and cons to both. I’d use apple if their prices and storage weren’t such a rip off. Samsung in mid tier is far superior than standard ipad and controller support actually works so Apple not as good for gaming. But their app support is one of the few features that really makes a difference

Android is the best device out because it's easy costumiseable

in terms of how you draw apple pen is better its natural

in organizing notes and sincing note in samsung notes and others specs about taking notes samsung is the better compared to goodnotes and other app in apple..but in the way u write ipad pen is better

I've noticed that people who are used to iPads have no idea how to use Android to its full potential. You can basically customise every aspect of Android (especially Samsung's One UI) to suit your needs. If you don't like the UI that comes with an Android tablet, you can change it to one you do like ( like Nova Launcher). Don't like the icons? No problem. Want to change or create your own swipe gestures? Easy. Want to create/design your own widgets, home screen layout, keyboard etc ? No problem.
iPads are great when it comes to hardware and apps for sure, there's no denying that. But for the most part, it's just so limiting after you see what android can really do.

But will samsung last long? Ipads are built like tanks. I have ipad 2017 and never faced any lag in 6 years. Android gets slower within 3 years. Will it get slower too. I am confused, I want a tablet with pen. I want for media and studies and note takings. no games and video editing. which one to get?

Apple is too expensive now and the batteries always die soon enough. And buying a tablet and use it as a laptop is not the way to go. I switched from IPhone to Samsung and now will get a Samsung S8 Tab. Works fine for me and a lot cheaper too.

Love the S Pen! I have both and always grab the tab and S Pen!

An amazing review honestly. I was stuck between the two and I think I'm gonna go with the s8. It's a little bit cheaper, not to mention the s pen comes with it. and the main thing I really need it for is just to to take notes. I also have an s22, so getting an android tablet would make more sense.

That clickyness of the pen from the Ipad would annoy me.

I Just bought the S8, wow more than a tablet is a laptop too. The high-quality construction, great connectivity, level of customization, excellent performance, the ability to switch windows-style interfaces to be used on a larger monitor. I'm sorry for Apple but Samsung has built a masterpiece at a reasonable price.

Ipad air ISN’T 4:3. Only 10.2 and 12.9 are 4:3
