This question is not related to user login and registration with Django but I desperately need help regarding sending emails using djano. Currently, I am using send_mail to try to send emails to gmail account. The email configuration in my settings file is as follow:
EMAIL_HOST = 'smtp.gmail.com'
EMAIL_PORT = 587
EMAIL_HOST_USER = 'myemail'
EMAIL_HOST_PASSWORD = 'password'
EMAIL_USE_TLS = True
I have seen others using the same config successfully to send an email but for some reason I have been getting this SMTPSeverDisconnected error everytime. I have tried searching for solution to this problem and many said to enable the lesssecuredapps which I have already done but still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :(

Hey Dennis, when creating the cust usercreationform, why are we adding password1 and password2 to the fields? I thought the fields list determined only which model fields will be added to the form, not the form fields inherited. What confuses me is if i dont write them in the fields list, i still see them in the html, as i expected, but if i leave them there i dont get an error like: the user model doesnt have fields password1 and password2. Great tutorial btw, thanks a lot for your work.
