Ron DeSantis legitimately wanted to run for president and he did NOT want Trump to win but unfortunately, there are way too many morons in this country that were backing Trump. With no clear path to victory and with such a decisive lead for Trump, you can't blame DeSantis for backing out of the race. it would be a huge waste of money and time to continue on.
