okay, this whole compilation finally made me accept that they were supposed to end up together, i rly think they should’ve kept the deleted scene on the show tho, it rly helped give more context to the ending.

Ted and Robin used to be great, I hate the part that Barney got into the mix. He was dope solo tbh.

You know in the show Robin is the most beautiful Cool woman in the show however she is so wishy-washy she likes Ted but she doesn't want to be with him she finally ends up with him and then she doesn't love him she finally falls in love with him and then she moves away she finally wants to settle down and get married just not to Ted and then when she finally does get married she marries one of Ted's best friends the most cartoony womanizing piece of shit I might add and then when they divorce years later (totally saw that coming) she's depressed because everybody has a better life than she does and the guy who has loved her since the day they met is finally happy with a beautiful woman and two kids and then decades later they meet up again she declares her love for him because the mother is no longer in her way he rejects her yeah at the end of the show they end up getting back together but at the same time imagine what her life would be like if she had just loved ted from the beginning they would have had a great relationship they would have and who knows she might have had kids before it was too late

That Robin and Barney story arch was so forced it felt like Joey and Rachel or Fez and jaquie

looking back a the series, is kind of ironic how a comedy is not really that.. the story of Ted is not a story about finding the mother of his kids is the story about giving up on a needy vision of love, in my pov he never stop loving Robin but he give up on the idea of being always on the waiting for some fantasy happening and his dream becoming real with her. he decided to give up as the last gesture of love to allow Robin and Barney having a future, but Robin on the other side of the story did loved Ted but she was a different person she was pragmatic in some way reactive toward the idea of love(contrary to Ted being proactive) the love for Robin was more realistic, more Adult is the love from someone that maybe passed on the idea of the fairy tale love story maybe cause past experiences or maybe cause his family legacy(Robin had an insensitive dad as role model about feelings and also an accelerated growing up as a Canadian celebrity) so she leaves behind the expectation for love and every time her love for Ted was there she was actively ignoring it but them at some point regretting it or always having doubts about it. and always observing how hopeful Ted was for his dreamed love story only separated Robin from the opportunity.. is not a perfect and beautiful story but is beautiful in some way.. and is a good example on how we can miss the life cause we are set up about things instead of just let it in happen... cause time never stop.. some people loved the mother arc and ended choosing Tracy over Robin but Tracy is just a side character.. even on his own story cause everything there is about Ted dreamed love and how after manny errors finally the guy found love.. but at same time the mother arc is the arc denies Ted evolution as a character..

You know, i don’t get why people hate Ted and Robin. Ted was over the top yes. But he was true to himself. He’s a hopeless romantic. He was a very kind friend to all of them. Robin and barney are SO similar. They were great as a couple but they kinda were toxic together. They both hate commitment and they wanted to commit to eachother?? I mean they were tooo similar to be together in my opinion. And tbh their relationship was more sexual than romantic. They tried to settle down at first but they both were miserable. They needed someone to who would ground them. For barney i think that would be Nora and for Robin i think that was Ted. Barney broke the bro code and Ted forgave him. But the moment Ted tries to give Barney advice on the girl He dated for a year, Barney is all “im the one marrying her not you” Im sorry but that annoyed me asf because Ted was only telling barney the BARE MINIMUM like Stop hitting on other girls while you’re engaged!!! But he was like “ooh Robin is so cool i can continue with my ways” 💀 im sorry but that kind of relationship is very toxic. Barney deserved a better ending and i kinda wish he ended up with Nora but he was a terrible person towards women. I hated the ending tbh because i really wanted Ted to be happy. And Tracy was a very good fit for Ted. He should have been happy with Her but they decided to kill her off💀 im rambling but i really hated robin x barney💀💀💀 that’s my whole point.

Ted is such a schmuck. He could have totally had Robin if he played it even just a bit more cool and reasonable, but he drove her away with his excessive romanticizing and lack of backbone. Luckily he found Tracy... and Robin not being able to have children was a huge catalyst for Ted to move on from Robin for good. But if he never met Tracy, and and Robin did want children, Ted would totally still be lonely all because not only is he schmuck, but he tends to be needy yet simultaneously too passive. Oh well, best show ever!

I get y'all alright. I know Ted and Robin ship is something that hurted us watch not happening. However, you didn't do justice to Barney. I hate y'all if you say the ending was in any way good. They made two dichotomous endings such that the 22 episodes of the last season made sense for neither. The idea that they planned this from near beginning makes me even more disappointed. Was I falling for something that was meant to be flawed later? This is still going to be a show set as an example for 'how to ruin a legendary show'.

Plot hole is that she had friends 😂 when the rest of the season she mentions she never had any other friend group except the gang 😂

The delete scene worked better

That deleted scene with Ted and Robin at the restaurant made me really sad all of a sudden. Ted was really, truly happy with Tracy.

Look at Ted's eye at 1.05.33 . He always new that she will love him. But not very soon...

Ted and Robin > Barney and Robin. HIMYM is my favorite show even I hate it when a woman get together with 2 friends of a group. Nevertheless, the two had nice scenes but Ted and Robin are the better couple. He made Robin fit for a relationship.

I love HIMYM but the ending man they did the mother dirty. I know they always intended Robin and Ted ending up together. The Tracy was the perfect partner for Ted. So basically I have conflicting feelings for this series. Why can't Barney and Robin have a happy ending? I was bummed about that too.

I actually quite like this scene.

if looking at some trivial details, I think Josh and Cobie might have developed a friendship deeper than other 3. like in Maclaren's, most of the time they sit next to each other if they are not with someone even Barney. i remember one scene NPH even gave his seat to Cobie next to Josh which kinda unnecessary. During the period when Ted and Robin were roommates I remember some scenes Robin just held Ted's arm. I really believe their real personalities have intangible similarities which makes their chemistry extremely well.

I do not have a problem with the end as it was , I have a problem with robin's wig at the end.

The first two seasons were Ted and Robin in love as kids. As they grew, they matured into adults that could be together for good
