I told my kids and their friends if I'm ever around and hear something like this happening just know that I'm at the window helping people out I tell them all the time I don't care what the teacher says if they are telling you to stay low or hide or whatever if you can get out to get out that I would not be mad at them and that I will tell the teacher myself if its a problem. Luckily I live near the school so im usually close by like a mom never leaves her cubs. If they friends wanna climb out to who am i to say no. I can't imagine the fear of feeling like you're basically just ducks in a row sitting lined up.... So sad:(
