I missed being a teenager in the 80’s by a decade but looking back seems like that was a great decade. Music, movies, no social media. The 90’s weren’t bad but has been down hill since. Even pop music was 100% better than now.

One of my all-time favourite albums, I think they only toured the UK once, they performed in front of a hostile crowd. I think it was rock city in Nottingham, and vowed never to tour the UK again, which was a shame, but I never got to see them the lesson to me always perform for those who know you your fans, it’s funny I never really liked rock music but in the 80s it made a big surge and I really got into it and it’s one of my favourite genres of music

My parents (yeah, not joking. I'm 47 now and my mom was a hair metal (and Metallica) fan growing up.) took me to see Poison TWICE and one of the times we were in the 3rd row and Brett threw a Budweiser Nip into the crowd and it hit me in the head. Everything stopped and Brett looked mortified. I was fine and I grabbed the Nip, looked at my Dad, and he said, "May as well drink it!". So I did. Mind you, I was in the 7th Grade. Wore the infamous concert shirt with the bottle of JD on the front the next day to school. That story wouldn't be possible in today's day.
