To be honest I'm from Merseyside outskirts of Liverpool and people don't talk to strangers that much on public transport either. You get a few chatty types but we mostly just mind our own business, it's a British thing.
ОтветитьI looked at an estate agent window in shepherds Bush recently and thought "800k is ok for London..oh wait it's a flat."
Ответить15 pounds for 2 pints jfc. You can have a bloody good night out in Cardiff for that and in fact I've never spent more than 30 pounds on a night out in Cardiff.
ОтветитьAir pollution on the tube is at terrifying numbers
Ответитьi love to say that , all the cons you mentioned is thankfully a pros to me!
Ответить2 pints in norway is up agains 25£
ОтветитьI think for me as a Glaswegian I could never live in London. London's underground is amazing and I wish we'd do something better than the Clockwork Orange we have here (although if you live in the town/west end, it's very convenient). However apart from that I prefer Glasgow personally for a few reasons. The prices are much cheaper, I spent 100k on a 3 bedroom flat with about 70m² of private garden space, and only a 10 minute train ride from the City Centre. Everything is super local, I have 3 shops (grocery stores) around a 1 minute walk from my house, and three massive ones about a 10 minute drive away! I do like London a lot, and of course everyone is biased towards where they grew up but I genuinely couldn't imagine trying to live there after having lived here, I just think there'd be too many cons from my perspective.
ОтветитьYou can travel to Amsterdam for the price of a round of drinks
ОтветитьUk 🇬🇧British mo*ron alcoholics living in pubs 😂😂freeks of nature 😂😂glad i not live in british Gilligan's island 😂😂wtf..😂.. 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe NHS is collapsing. Good luck getting health care. 13k GP's turned in their licenses and left the UK last year alone.
Ответить15 pounds for two drinks how long has it been since you’ve been in the United States we literally had two drinks at a restaurant and they were $12 each. So is it 15 pounds like $19 in American money that’s not bad.
ОтветитьAs a German, the biggest moment of amazement for me in London was that the trains are so cheap and always on time
ОтветитьI have a question please answer it to me. Is London a good place to study?
ОтветитьAs someone born and raised in Walsall. It ain't worth it for the cheap pints.
ОтветитьCould the reason that Londoners aren't too friendly, because they rarely get sun? Imagine if it were way more sunny than it is!
ОтветитьThanks bro. Planning to move from Birmingham to London. Was a bit apprehensive before watching you
ОтветитьThe not talking on the tube is not strictly true especially on the last tube home on the weekends when everyone's had a drink
ОтветитьLondon
ОтветитьI think London is overated and over priced just because it is the Capital ,. York is a nicer city . I think at least
ОтветитьThank you for your videos im actually planning on moving to London next year and this has been super helpful
Ответитьon this morning of April I found myself sick and tired of all this snow in Colorado, and I’m also sick and tired of the crappy economy of the U.S. so here I am
ОтветитьHow can someone try to help people but talk so freaking fast??? Is that really normal?
ОтветитьZero hour contracts ,mass unemployment,NHS underfunded ,days to book a doctors appointment .casualty waits to see a doctor of over 17 hours,12 hour waits for an ambulance, nurses and teachers having to use foodbanks, knife crime ,supermarkets with no fruit and veg in them ,thats what 12 years of our bullshit government has done,so don't believe the hype ,things are not good on Britannia's shores.
ОтветитьYour videos are Amazing. My goal in life is to move to the UK and leave depressing USA
ОтветитьLol I can hear you're picking up on that accent a bit
ОтветитьLol i dont know why i am watching this, i have already signed my new lease no amount of cons could change my mind at this point xD
Ответитьhi, u know what? u are a nice guy, i hope u get rich
Ответитьwait what do you mean people don't shank everyone with a razor sharp knife in London
ОтветитьOh I would fit in haha
ОтветитьWhat’s a comfortable income in London?
ОтветитьDon’t talk on the phone either on public transport.
ОтветитьYou speak very quickly we cant undrestand 🙄
ОтветитьLondon is the best 🇬🇧🤗
ОтветитьCost is commensurate with NYC
ОтветитьMe living in los Ángeles when he mentions 15 pounds for 2 pints of beer: “oh….that’s not bad actually. “
ОтветитьCan you please do American food versus food in the UK? My husband daughter and myself are moving to the UK.
ОтветитьThat hands are from the gym!!! sorry, me too
ОтветитьHow the hell does anyone afford to live in London??
ОтветитьMy pros: a great buzz, great food and always stuff to do, so many great neighbourhoods with diff character, very diverse, and contrary to what many people say, the weather isn't too bad. Also lots of good architecture and history.
Cons: too. bloody. expensive.
But still, every major city worth living in is pretty expensive. Gotta decide if you can get a good quality of life or not here
One thing that impressed me when I visited London last time was that a lot of white-collar people stand and chat outside pubs during the happy hours. I don't see that in other parts of the world.
ОтветитьSome stuff is happening for me right now and we might have to move to London for a year next year, I'm a little paranoid about it so this kind of makes me feel better about it.
ОтветитьI'm watching this from. Sydney and Australia and plan on moving here on a uk Visa , I'm pretty nice guy and like to talk. Is London not for me lol?
ОтветитьMe hearing him list the prices of transportation being from San Francisco, CA, USA: Wow, that's cheap! lol
Ответить🤣funny fella
ОтветитьI mean there's always the option of having your groceries delivered.
ОтветитьA school group I was in stayed in London for four days, and throughout that time I became very quick to follow google maps instructions (only got the step by step stuff because I had no data and got instructions while I had wifi before we went) and was able to go extremely fast on the underground. It really did feel like a sport, and it was so fun. But it could get so stuffy down there when outside it would be in the fifties fahrenheit
ОтветитьCardiff has some eateries with one pound shots!!!
ОтветитьVery good and fair review. I live in Copenhagen so I’m used to astronomical prices. My girlfriend and I went on an internship in London for 3 months and we really enjoyed it! The city has so much to offer and so many different parts. Really want to go live there again though I love Copenhagen
ОтветитьCool!I watched your video and now I want to go to London, too))
Ответитьno guns but knife crime is rife
