Fun fact the Carain knight sucks ass. The easiest fight in elden ring. All you have to do is run past him and start the lift and run around and he'll fall in the lift hole.

people who think elden ring is hard should stop playing games. how can it be hard when you can just keep farming upgrade to max and then every boss in 30 sec. i am a sekiro guy and played elden ring for first time and as soon as i realized i can be strong without even killing any boss i just upgrade to level 50+ and killed margot on 2nd try. so i think elden ring is a very easy game.

Bro the first tike i met moongrum i didn't even realize its an unique npc fight. I just pummeled his ass with my greatsword and went on to so the same with renalla 🤣 i think the soliders outside of raya lucaria gave me more trouble than that guy

Could have replaced Glintblade Phalanx with a small glintstone by parrying your own projectiles with Carrian Retaliation.

A nice gimmick on the Carian Knight Sword is the charged Attack, since it counts as guarding while charged.

I like all the logic and math behind wizard videos. It's much better than simply a tutorial on how to pick up a huge weapon and the explanation is "Big weapon make bonk"

After roll or switch in to sneaking position carian slicer's first use is faster, like if u already started the combo (sorry for bad English)

Summary: the carian knight art is done by a chad who knows about how to really grip a sword

I love how in the carian knight art he is gripping the sword with a finger over the crossguard, this tecnique improoves controll over the blade and is often seen in italian historical swordfighting texts from the 15th century utilizing the sidesword.

For a Carian Knight build, would it be better to aim for 70 Int or a 40 Dex / 40 Int split? 40 Dex + the Radagon Icon allows for maximum spellcasting speed without having to off-hand Azur's Glintstone Staff. That means no FP penalty for spells, and that weapon slot can be reserved for another armament, such as another staff with a potentially more useful spellcasting buff. The obvious drawback is the heavy investment in Dex required for a build that doesn't use primarily Dex-scaling weapons.

I accidentally beat Moongrum the first time I ever encountered him by bravely running away. He chased me onto an elevator, which I dropped off of in a panic, and he took long enough to follow me off it that the fall damage killed him instantly
