ОтветитьShould really be Ziti and Manicotti, as thaie are the two most eaten/mentioned. They almost never talk about lasagna. That one scene is basically they only time they talk about it.

ОтветитьWhen you're putting a shitload of cheese on something there is no reason to add salt more salt. Cheese is super salty already. The only reason to do that is that you are only taking one bite from the monstrosity and spitting it out.

Sorry Andrew, I’ve seen the Cooking with Jack Show, there is definitely such thing as too much cheese, thankfully, you didn’t cross that line here
Looks great... but it's not 'Carmella's lasagne' as described by Junior.
-"Sweet sausage in little pieces" suggesting it is already cooked and chopped into little pieces before adding to the meat sauce. "and a layer of basil leaves right underneath the cheese"... not on top of the cheese, and not with every layer.

ОтветитьThats everything but a traditional italian Lasagne. The ricotta version is only popular among italians in the us. In Europe theres is no Ricotta in the Lasagne. They use bechamelsauce

ОтветитьLove you babish, but it doesnt make any sense to you for them to just add the meat to the onion cuz you are very "extra" lol. Its probably just a way to minimize dirty dishes and just make things easier. Your way is probably better but for us lazy cooks we just throw stuff in haha
