Hi Tony, this would be a great tutorial for GH5, BUT I HAVE A GH5 II, WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE A DIFFERENT SCREEN. SO WILL HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER VIDEO. BUT THIS IS VERY INFORMATIVE ANYWAY, IF I HAD THAT TYPE OF CAMERA

Don’t forget if you can’t record In slow motion, you need to change the filter settings.

One slight correction, during the time-lapse discussion (about 41 minutes in) you say "60 shooting at 60 FPS you will need 60 images for 1 minute of video" but clearly you meant "1 second," still there's probably a few people out there that will be confused by this. Lol. Cheers!

I've used the Newmowa USB chargers in the car between shoots. Work great.

It’s so annoying that I’ve got no way to try them out first.

I’m planning on getting a A7 III. I’ll o it be able to afford one lens at the mo though. What are peoples thoughts on this?
I shoot video occasionally but stills is priority.
A full frame, with 4K25fps capabilities is a must.
I own a D5600 currently, & have borrowed a 6D mk2 until jan 7th, so I’ve played around with Nikon and Canon.

I really do want and like the look of the Sony, by year a lot about these GH5s.

Am I making the correct decision with A7iii for a photo & video camera? & what lenses are cost effective as I’ll be needing lenses in a month or so.

HES12060 and the lens broke me at the base.
Which two lenses would recommend for photos and video . I'm unprofessional.

Love the tutorial. One thing...I can't seem to set the VFR which is Off and I can't turn it on. When I try, I get a "This menu item can't be set" even though the Rec Quality says "VFR available". Do you know how I can turn this on?

Thank You for all your great work. Just purchased the GH5 for video. I have it set MP4 (LPCM) but the Rec. Quality menu does not show 4K 8bit 150M 60p like you show in your video. I'm using 4K 8bit 24p and using the VFR at 60 but then it only plays back in slow motion. Any ideas? The firmware is up to date!

So i Can Just Simple One Click Delete without Annoying 2 or 3 Step BS ?
Most all my past Cameras have All Had This Feature Option & had Always been easy to Locate it in Menu
however The GH5 Being So Feature Packed I'm wondering if I'm Just Not Finding it? Or If The GH5 Doesn't have this Option??

Hey man, this video is still beyond helpful 3 years later. The gh5 has really stood up and I think will stay an incredibly valuable camera (especially for the price) for years to come still. This has been beyond helpful and I appreciate the work that you guys do. Definitely will be grabbing some gear through your links and checking out your channel :)

Would anyone be able to help me set the display to show the file number of video while shooting? We are shooting a high number of short videos and wish write the file numbers down on the fly.

Thank you for your efforts on this. Love the humor and honesty. I'm sure there were many times more hours that went into getting the 2 hour result. Firmware updates have changed a lot of things. The latest is 2.7. For instance, I can't find Focus Transition anymore. Any chance of an update? It's still one of the best mirrorless micro 4/3 cameras available.
