Imagine fishing for 24 hours here!

It's like real life. Some people have all the money/gold. Everyone else works for them. Fishing or harvesting flowers or whatever is NOT "fun." It's a thing you do to get resources. If you can just buy the resources with gold then you can play the actual game, like trials, dungeons, pvp, gear farming etc.

Is there a cooldown?

Just got my fishing companion. Makes fishing much faster

I was fishing 4 years ago overall and it wasn't successful. So many rar Fishes (and normal) were Left. But, I could trapp all the Fishes in Tamriel with Sharp in 4 days. I have now only 1 Big Red Fish in Orsinium. Fishing with Sharp was really fun and successful, you have more Luck!

Great info as usual. I just started the quest to get Sharps with my main yesterday with a view to fishing the new zone(s). I didn't realize the folios counted as trophy fish, I'm going to fish the hell out of the Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha for the next week or so lol.
How often does Sharps get a rapport increase while fishing, is it every hole, once every 10 minutes/hour/day?

Good info as usual. Tried it last night and this morning. A lot of people doing this but it’s a big zone. Just keep moving and you’ll find fishing holes. After about 40 folios the drops are about as expected. Mostly junk and a couple of nice items. Good luck everyone! Fishing is good for you!!

Jake, You set me up😢. I was just innocently trying to fish for stuff to sell,like you said, and I was brutally attacked. Yup, attacked. By a monster. Must have been 12 feet tall. Luckily, Esobel was there for me. I thought fishing was supposed to be relaxing. The only thing that came out of my whole experience, besides dirty undies, was an achievement. So thanks I guess.

I did all necrom fishing and got the creature of the black lagoon easter egg and I never seen a single one of these satchels.

Sailenmora crypt has over 400 urns you can loot for furnishing plans, and the urns are not steal from just use, so better loot chances. It's also the best decorative wax farm I've found. (Edit) just thought id add that I am selling the full stacks of decorative wax for 75k everyday

I thought companion perks were only available when you got them max leveled?

I DO NOT WANT a fishing companion. All that stuff just means the fishing hole goes dead faster. Same reason I don't fish with others. I catch special items just fine on my own.

About 1 hour fishing as I was eating lunch yielded 3 Roe and one golden furnishing. Not bad.

Be sure to have Sharp while you're fishing, but switch to Azander when you open the Volumes. I'm not 100% sure it matters, but it certainly seemed to improve my take.

Processed over 200 fish yesterday. No perfect roe found
