Dynamic Creative — Best Practice For Facebook Ads

Hi, do you recommend automatic thumbnail, or do you set it manual?

Hi just noticed that if we do like you say and upload all creative in 9x16 Vertical viewing and have the important info in the center so when it gets cropped so it can still be viewed on all the other placements, the issue we have is FB gives following error when previewing the ad placements, that "aspect ratio is Unsupported for Instagram profile feed only supports aspect ratios up to 4:5 tall and 1.91:1 wide."

This is the only placement that throws this error and we cannot preview the placement so im guessing it may not show on Instagram profile feeds if we post this ad. Is this just a bug in FB and the video will still be cropped down and shown on Instagram profile feeds? as this placement location is quite important to not miss out on! Thanks a lot!

Hi! What are your thoughts on leaving the "Optimized Creative For Each Person" on the DCT ads level turned on? It automatically adjusts your creative/copy (can even add emojis we may not want...) BUT also give fb permission to not send traffic to their site but to your IG shop if it's set-up... Should we leave this turned on for best results or will it hurt original intent of creative and less traffic on the site? A part of me wants FB to have full control but also thinking about what might not be necessary...

When I do dynamic creatives and I place the same media but different aspect ratios, will FB still take my videos and crop them to fit different platforms or just use the video with the aspect ratio that matches? I have videos in vertical that i made for IG reels and then i made the same video but cropped it to square and aligned some things to fit more of facebooks platforms

Would it be too much trouble for you to share visual examples? I love your info, its concise, I was just thinking the visual example would really help me to understand and possibly others (from us visual learners out here)

hey i need help with my facebook business manager

Hi, I have a question about the "Time Zone" in the "Ad Account creation"- do you choose the location you are going to run ads for?, or your current location? Also the Currency part - do I choose the one I am paying in or what? I am confused . would like to know since when you "add payment" info later- they also ask for Region and currency , I know this is probably a noob question but no one has ever covered that topic!! ( tried everywhere ) would love to know since new people really have no clue and I got one business ad account disabled since I accidentally chose a wrong region for payment method and my Ad account I chose different Time Zone ( not sure it is connected really) .

We cant add music to video ads now as we could before, what can be done about that without getting into the copyright issue?
