Just dropped £100 on the IHNY and Vice Plug-in: worth it! That parallel compression is absolutely *chefs kiss*.

and dont forget the alesis sr16 drum machine which is great for synthwave. and alesis still manufactures them😉

I bought the BM-vice plugin a couple of years back, great to get started but there are things missing that make the plugin semi-useless. If you want to apply sidechain compression from the kick, you have to apply all the effects on the kick by yourself. The only way to get the kick signal into a sidechain on another track is to put the kick processin gon individual. At that point you might as well just apply all the effects on a bunch of LM samples once and just save it as a template. It's a shame because from what I understand in the manual, some other beatmaker editions (for EDM for example) do have the ability to sidechain.

Gated drums was not pioneered by Phil Collins. Engineer Hugh Padgham and producer Steve Lillywhite made it in 1979 at Townhouse Studios in London. They worked with XTC, Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins. Most time the Studio guys forgotten and the Artist get named.

Hey there! So I have logic pro X and I actually didn't find the patch for the Linn Drum included in my electronic drum kit. Is this an additional patch that I'd have to find, or would it be better to just look for the initial patch itself somewhere else?
