The framing guide is definitely a game changer, wish it was around during last trip to Bail as it took extra work in post to get framed perfect for a reel and etc.

mavic 3 classic vs mini 4 pro. is there any difference between this two in terms of active tracking and obstacle avoidance. or which is more superior in terms of obstacle avoidance and tracking. thank you

Now I have to buy the rc controller to get these awesome updates. Does not work with a phone unfortunately, figured this would happen.

Interesting side question:

Are you satisfied with the Polar Pro filter? Just got mine and noticed a weird golden glow in the corners. This came from a situation where i flew directly in direction of the sun. The golden frame of the filters lead to reflections captured in the image.

It‘s not acceptable and i‘m hugely dissappointed from the filters.

Always used PolarPro on my Mavics but this time i will sell the filters and i‘ll use the standard ones from DJI. Sadly they are just ND and not ND/PL like the Polar Pro‘s.

This firmware update is nice, but I have a question with the Mavic 3 Pro and the spherical panorama with 3x lens - it generates 100+ photos but does not assemble them like it would with the 1x lens. Did I miss something? or is there a program or process that's advised to do the assembly after the fact?

DJI should do a sensor crop for vertical video, like in the Air 3. Anything else isn't even worth talking about.

Do u think they will make that same update for the 3 t ?

I keep getting asked to do this update on my air 3 but then it goes away after a few seconds when i power up the drone and controller. I did enable some type of notifications dealio.. does anyone else get this? This is my first dji and I'm still learning. 😂

The vision assist is absolutely a MASSIVE game changer for someone like me who spends A WHOLE LOT of time flying backwards! I honestly can't even believe they implemented something like that in an already existing drone and didn't advertise it as some new feature on a new drone to try and boost sales! Such a HUGE HUGE HUGE deal for what I do and not something I thought we would have seen for at least a few more years or maybe a Mavic 4.

Great information, I haven't missed any of these added features, but as you said, maybe I just have to try them out to find out... I wonder if you can record from the extra cameras?
For us old, or lazy recreational flyers, it would be nice if the drone would do the cropping for us to simplify the editing process...

Panorama photo sphere 3x 70 mm lens takes 106 photos in bulk and does not automatically combine them into a whole.

Super update. The one thing I found that made me sad was the AR drone landing image. I typically fly down to my landing spot at an angle. I guess that's a habit left over from the FPV and it's inability to look straight down. I was hoping I would see an AR image of my drone's landing spot while coming in at an angle but it appears you must be landing directly down. Pretty petty complaint on a really nice set of updated features. I never could figure out why my old FPV had an AR home point and subsequent drones didn't but chalked it up to the goggles which was probably true. Nice to have it now on my Mav3 and Mav3 Pro.

You can now also deactivate “save landing” in advanced sensor settings which makes it much easier to land in your hand or carry a payload that covers the bottom sensor.

Can You do a tutorial for hand catching?

Very nice as Always Ken, I’m a Mavic Air 2 owner, and thinking a lot , to sell everything and buy a Mavic 3 lineups, first for the Remote Id module already installed, and the rest over better future’s, whit this updates, that’s a other nail , in the coffin , in the Air 2. ,-)

Accessing all the cameras is a big one for me- I will feel far safer flying in tighter areas.

This back up vision system is absolutely perfect for the "Phillip Bloom" type of backing up slowly thru object. He is gonna drop one in his pants for sure.

Great improvements, but why can't you look down with the obstacle avoidance camera. I would love to be able to follow a line (river bank, trees etc...) and film going forward at the same time.
