ОтветитьHim: move yourself to the target...
Drivers : hey you are standing in the middle of the road!
Thank you for the very informative video, I would do this exercise with Natasha with pleasure honestly
ОтветитьIt is dark outside… but I will try that soon, point taken, thanks.
ОтветитьNatasha at 10 mm was something
Ответить"Zoom with your feet": That was the first thing I needed to learn once I moved away from the 18-55mm kit lens and started to work with primes.
ОтветитьWow great tips will try tomorrow thanks
Ответить神奇啊
ОтветитьThis one really gets into the practical aspects!
ОтветитьSoo is the further away it is shot from the better?
ОтветитьBeautiful Natasha.. how old is she now?
Ответитьwow!! I understood this better with this video. well explained .still struggling thank you sir. one more sub .
ОтветитьThis is the top of analism everywhere, totally rediculous.
ОтветитьGreat advice Mike.
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьDid you set the camera to F4?
ОтветитьWow! One of the best videos on optimally using the zoom lens.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьIts on my feed after 10 years. I knew about the focal lengths but still wanted to watch it. Simple yet very informative one.
ОтветитьI do have a Natasha to this with, as that’s also my daughter’s name😂😂😂
Ответить10 years ago since I saw this first time.
I always recommend you Mike for people wanted to learn photography, and go watch your videos, because you is a really good teacher.
Posted 10 years ago and looks like you made it this year.
ОтветитьSometimes I want to get myself photographed, and then I have to ask someone else to take the pictures (most of the time a complete stranger).
In the end, I am always struggling with the settings of my camera before I give it to them. Fully automatic is a bit too unreliable on my camera and since I also would like to have a sharp background I intend to go for something like f11. Although sometimes, it will give a sharp background, where I am not... Do you got any tips? In general I would like my to be sharp on the picture where the background is 'sharp' too (like a mountain for example, which are most of the time further away).
Loved the video. Just starting a photography course and the video made perfect sense. I did get b
Nervous when the camera was placed on a bin. Thank you
shes actually got a really nice face
ОтветитьI just got my first proper camera and I'm trying to understand the technicalities. This has been very helpful and surprising, thank you!
ОтветитьHow did no car show-up for so long
ОтветитьThank you for all the informations ! The quality is insane for a 10 years old video 🤩
ОтветитьThank you for this video. It was very informative 👍
ОтветитьExcellent explanation and really well narrated. You have talent for teaching in an interesting and engaging manner, about (anything, I bet) appropriate use of the camera lens. And, Natasha, your assistant, is beautiful!
ОтветитьThanks for making and sharing your video!!
Ответитьgreat vid. Thanks you
Ответитьis nat single?
ОтветитьAlso, pay attention to what the compression is doing with the face. Depending on the shape it is not always flattering with a tele even though that it what most photographers have told us over the years. Jaw/neck and face width "grows" which (mostly females) tend to dislike. Especially younger ones who are used to selfie-proportions. But that is another topic
Ответить8 years later, watching this again 😃 A good video is timeless.
ОтветитьConclusion, Natasha is beautiful with any focal length.
ОтветитьThis explanation is awesome for a beginner like me! I'll definitely be watching his other videos!
ОтветитьPlease don't get hit by a car!!
ОтветитьShe's a cutie.
ОтветитьThis was a very needed video....not just for photographers...but for oil painters like myself. Painting people/portraits from photos can be a horrible experience if you don't understand zoom, focal lengths, eye level, and so on. I shoot photos of people, generally, with a 50mm lens..at...10...feet..back.
ОтветитьAnyone here after john bear's video?
Ответитьthanks bro
ОтветитьIs this full frame or cropped?
