Amoroso buy this guitar
ОтветитьPawn stars what a joke 😂😂
ОтветитьWho walks into a pawn shop expecting top dollar? That's not the way it works. Pawn shops make money by buying under market. If you want top dollar, straight to auction.
ОтветитьJimi Hendrix used two guitars. One was this color, the other one had a dark (black) body. Jimi also played left handed, which caused power chords, etc. to hang awkwardly. I see no evidence of that on this guitar, but that really doesnt mean anything! Personally, I'd like to see more evidence that it is what is claimed!
ОтветитьBruh what does he mean by taking a risk - there is no risk since it's literally one of Hendrix's Strats
ОтветитьThe seller was never going to let that guitar go for one cent less than 750 k and if it didn't get it , he was going to have the best advertising session for free . That guitar is worth a fortune nothing less
ОтветитьHe like stolen money from the people big time
ОтветитьI wonder if this is the same Guitar Jimi gave to Al Kooper. Saw a interview with Al, he said it made him nervous. Theives were trying to break into his house a couple times. I think he sold it for 100,000. Crazy.
ОтветитьSeller: i have the tablet which the 10 commandments were written on..Rick: best i can i do is 250$
ОтветитьI just don’t know how you can sell Jimi Hendrix guitar?! There is no moneyfor that!!! I wouldn’t let anyone touch the guitar!!!
ОтветитьIf I had the money I’d buy it and donate it to a place I have in mind ❤
ОтветитьSo why is it not strung left handed and the strap button on the other horn of the guitar?
ОтветитьThis guy is a genius for not selling it for $500k. Even then, I would've been very greedy and would've just took it to an auction to fetch $1M+ instead of selling it on the spot.
Vintage guitars that are rare like a '54 strat would easily fetch $60k+ at an auction. If it was owned by the guy who literally is on the face of almost every guitar magazine? $1M is easy to hit.
Rich guys will go toe to toe, band for band just to get a one of Jimi's guitars.
He would have put a strap button for playing left handed.
ОтветитьSpecs ?
ОтветитьWhere is the strap pin? Wasn’t strings/nut supposed to be flipped?
ОтветитьOne of coolest things ive seen, id be so pumped to hold that guitar and i dont even play guitar, I just think Hendrix was the greatest to ever pick one up.
Ответить”Here is jesus christs original sandals”
”Best I can do is 2 cents and an old chipped shirt button”
The guitar isn't strung backwards.
Ответитьfirst rule of negotiation is that you should never be afraid to say "no" and walk away.
ОтветитьThis show is so fake its painful to watch. Why would anyone take that guitar to a pawn shop when you could easily just sell it at auction with a million dollar reserve?
Ответитьwho cares??? who cares 'if' hendrix played it? who cares one single bit?
ОтветитьAnd that is one smart man. In my guitarist opinion. That guitar is priceless. There are 2 guitarists that really changed the sound of guitar playing to date. (1) Jimi Hendrix
(2) Eddie Van Halen.
And both are no longer with us. Knowing that guitar actually was used to recorded band of gypsies.
It really is Priceless.
If Rick said a reasonable 7 I think it would’ve been done
ОтветитьI am curious, did this guy put it in Heritage Auctions? I owned a famous Frank Frazetta painting back in the 70's and had to let it go because I needed the money. It now sold for millions a few years ago. Talk about so many times I could have been Uber wealthy. A neighbor owned a comic and game card shop....he went out of business and actually gave away pallets of unopened game cards, sports cards and I again was hit with a money issue due to surgery etc. I had over 1000 unopened 1 series of the Magic Game Cards. I wanted to cry. It gets worse, I had found in a garage sale over 100 ORIGINAL Vargas pin ups that I bought from this old lady her husband died and he collected them since WW2 for only 1.25 each. I had a nut ex wife who deliberately burned them in our fireplace to get even with me for something I did not even do. It was everything I could to maintain self control- she came from within an inch of being killed. I packed up and left her. Now those pieces fetch over 30k to 50k each. My daughter says I am the luckiest UNLUCKY PERSON that my middle name should be Murphy's Law. She has witnessed this first hand happen over and over.
ОтветитьShould be 100000000000000 millions
ОтветитьI would never sell that guitar. It's truely a priceless piece of music history.
ОтветитьA 63’ strat alone in that condition is worth serious cash, not a million but geez.
ОтветитьIt's not the Holy Grail
There are 2
The Monterey Black strat and the last Black Strat he owned called "Black Beauty."
Black Beauty whereabouts unknown.
This is ridiculous. Assuming that the guitar is even real, you don't bring something like this into a freaking pawn shop. This is obviously a staged interaction. And if you are dumb enough to bring a guitar like this to a pawn shop for real (the guy does look pretty dumb), then you can only expect the "pawn shop price" and not the full auction price.
Ответитьnot real its a fake! the E 1st strings are not in the correct position for left hand also the pin for shoulder strap and the scratches on the body
ОтветитьWhy would they sell jis guitar its a gem
ОтветитьIf he wanted market value, he shouldn't even have bothered. He should send it straight to auction.
ОтветитьThat's a right handed guitar.
ОтветитьJiminy was left handed!
ОтветитьThis guy not only has a Beautiful guitar and history but also has Beautiful hair.
ОтветитьBig mistake Ricky
Ответить🙏💯🎸🎼😎
ОтветитьNever seen Rick throw one more offer out after not being able to make his deal. He wanted that bad
ОтветитьWell if it was played by Jimi then somebody screwed with it. That guitar isn't strung the way Jimi played them. He played righ-hand Strats but the guitar was restrung so the low E string was on the top like normal and the little E was on the bottom.
That guitar shown is still strung like a right-hand guitar.
Facts I mentioned should have been covered in this video. So what's the deal Pawn Stars?
Why this guitar isnt strung upside down ?
ОтветитьStupid price.
ОтветитьJimi played maple fretboards at the Fillmore/Band of Gypsies shows. He quit rosewood in ‘68. 🤓
ОтветитьThere is no risk here. Collectors do anything to buy guitars like that. It's like buying music history.
Ответитьlet me just call my Jimi Hendrix guitar guy
ОтветитьWhhyyyyyy would you sale it😮
ОтветитьNo matter if this one is famous… the whole idea of trying to sell one of the most valuable guitars to a pawnshop is so american it’s unbelievable.
Did he just do it for the range and get attention for the auction or is this show actually serious and real sellers behave this way?
